Opal™ Reagent Pack, Perkinelmer
Opal™ is a practical workflow for simultaneous detection of up to 6 tissue biomarkers plus nuclear counterstain, within a single image. The method is similar to standard immunohistochemistry and is accessible to many laboratories where standard IHC method development is performed.
Users should source primary antibodies and other workflow reagents separately. Before each procedure, dilute reconstituted Opal Fluorophore in 1X Amplification Diluent (not included) to make Opal fluorophore working solution.
Pack contains enough reagent to stain 50-slides with the following dilution ratios:
1:100 for manual kits
1:150 for automated kits
Store dry reagent in the dark at –20 °C. Upon reconstituting in DMSO, store in the dark at 4 °C.
