JAK3 Kinase Enzyme System, Promega
Supplier: EBRO Electronic GmbH
Recombinant human JAK3 (amino acids 781-end) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. JAK3 is a member of the JAK family of tyrosine kinases involved in cytokine receptor-mediated intracellular signal transduction.

- Includes kinase, substrate and reaction buffer
- Use with ADP-Glo™ Assay for bioluminescent detection of kinase activity
Recombinant human JAK3 (amino acids 781-end) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. JAK3 is a member of the JAK family of tyrosine kinases involved in cytokine receptor-mediated intracellular signal transduction. Low levels of JAK3 expression is detected in immature hematopoietic cells, which dramatically increases during terminal differentiation of these cells, suggesting a role of JAK3 in the differentiation of hematopoietic cells. Mutations in JAK3 are associated with autosomal SCID (severe combined immunodeficiency disease). Mice lacking JAK3 show a severe block in B-cell development at the pre-B stage in bone marrow, suggesting that JAK3 is critical for the progression of B-cell development in the bone marrow. ADP-Glo Kinase Assay is a luminescent kinase assay that measures ADP formed from a kinase reaction; ADP is converted into ATP, which is a substrate in a reaction catalyzed by Ultra-Glo Luciferase that produces light. The luminescent signal positively correlates with ADP amount and kinase activity. The assay is well suited for measuring the effects chemical compounds have on the activity of a broad range of purified kinases, making it ideal for both primary screening as well as kinase selectivity profiling. The ADP-Glo Kinase Assay can be used to monitor the activity of virtually any ADP-generating enzyme (e.g., kinase or ATPase) using up to 1mM ATP. Kinase Enzyme System contains: Kinase: JAK3, 10ug (Human, recombinant; amino acids 781-end). MW: ~64kDa. Substrate: Poly (4:1 Glu, Tyr) Peptide. Other: Reaction Buffer, DTT.
