Ideally suited for cell culture in a range of 10–25 mM. The zwitterionic buffer has a buffering ranges of 6.8–8.2. It can also be used as a component of TRIS-HEPES buffer for polyacrylamide electrophoresis of proteins. DNase-, RNase-, and protease-free.
