Description:
C3orf34 (chromosome 3 open reading frame 34), also known as MGC14126, is a 163 amino acid protein encoded by a gene that maps to human chromosome 3q29. Chromosome 3 is made up of approximately 214 million bases encoding over 1,100 genes. Notably, there is a chemokine receptor gene cluster and a variety of human cancer related loci on chromosome 3. Particular regions of the chromosome 3 short arm are deleted in many types of cancer cells. Key tumor suppressing genes on chromosome 3 encode apoptosis mediator RASSF1, cell migration regulator HYAL1 and angiogenesis suppressor SEMA3B. Marfan Syndrome, porphyria, von Hippel-Lindau syndrome, osteogenesis imperfecta and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease are a few of the numerous genetic diseases associated with chromosome 3.

Description:
SOX17 is a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of cell fate (1,2). SOX17 is part of the SoxF subgroup which plays an important role in the differentiation of different cell types, including visceral and definitive endoderm and hematopoietic cell types (3,4). SOX17 is also essential for acquisition and maintenance of arterial identity (5).

Description:
Hydrolyzes lysophospholipids to produce lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in extracellular fluids. Major substrate is lysophosphatidylcholine. Also can act on sphingosylphosphphorylcholine producing sphingosine-1-phosphate, a modulator of cell motility. Can hydrolyze, in vitro, bis-pNPP, to some extent pNP-TMP, and barely ATP. Involved in several motility-related processes such as angiogenesis and neurite outgrowth. Acts as an angiogenic factor by stimulating migration of smooth muscle cells and microtubule formation. Stimulates migration of melanoma cells, probably via a pertussis toxin-sensitive G protein. May have a role in induction of parturition. Possible involvement in cell proliferation and adipose tissue development. Tumor cell motility-stimulating factor.

Description:
Tripartite motif-containing protein 34 (TRIM34), also known as RING finger protein 21 (RNF21) or interferon-responsive finger protein 1 (IFP1), is a 488 amino acid member of the TRIM family, also known as the RING-B-box coiled-coil (RBCC) family. Members of the RBCC family have an N-terminal RING finger, followed by one or two zinc-binding domains (B-box domains), a leucine coiled-coil region and a variable C-terminal domain. Three isoforms of TRIM34 exist as a result of alternative splicing events. Isoform 1, the most abundant isoform, is highly expressed in placenta, spleen, colon and peripheral blood leukocytes. Studies have shown that Interferon (IFN) stimulation leads to an upregulation of TRIM34. These findings suggest that TRIM34 maybe a downstream effector that mediates IFN activities.

Description:
GFRA2, also named as GDNFRB, RETL2 and TRNR2, belongs to the GDNFR family. It is a receptor for neurturin. GFRA2 mediates the NRTN-induced autophosphorylation and activation of the RET receptor. It is a potent survival factor for central dopaminergic neurons, motor neurons, and several other populations of neurons in the central and peripheral nervous systems. The GDNF signal is mediated by a complex of the receptor tyrosine kinase RET and a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked protein, GDNFRA. GFRA2 has three isoforms with MW 34-36 kDa, 39-41 kDa and 50-52 kDa. This antibody recognizes all the three isoforms.
