Description:
Glycolic Acid, 70 Percent, High Purity, is slightly stronger than acetic acid. It is often included into emulsion polymers, solvents and additives for ink and paint in order to improve flow properties and impart gloss. It is used in surface treatment products that increase the coefficient of friction on tile flooring. Glycolic acid is a useful synthetic organic intermediate for oxidation-reduction, esterification and long chain polymerizations

Description:
IGSF11 is also known as BTIGSF (brain and testis-specific immunoglobulin superfamily protein) or VSIG3 (V-set and immunoglobulin domain-containing protein 3) and is a 431 amino acid protein that is expressed as three isoforms. IGSF11 is highly expressed in testis and ovary and is also expressed in brain, kidney and skeletal muscle, localized to the cellular membrane as a single-pass membrane protein. IGSF11 is an immunoglobulin with V-type and C2-type domains that function in molecular recognition. When IGSF11 is in the trans position, it plays an important role in cell-cell adhesion via both homophilic and heterophilic interactions with other molecules. These cellcell interactions are also thought to be important for neuronal cell interactions, such as neuronneuron or neuronglia interactions, which are important for the development and function of the central nervous system. In addition, IGSF11 might also be involved interactions between Sertoli cells and spermatocytes, which are important associations during spermatogenesis. The IGSF11 gene is commonly upregulated in gastric cancer and IGSF11 is highly expressed in many types of human tumors, indicating that it may be useful as a target for immunotherapy.

Description:
This peptide corresponds to human keratin K18 amino acids 26-38, with an additional C-terminal cysteine. The sequence is identical to mouse K18 except that human K18 Val28 is replaced by alanine in the mouse sequence. Members of the 14-3-3 protein family bind the human intermediate filament protein keratin 18 (K18) in-vivo, in a cell-cycle- and phosphorylation-dependent manner. K18 Ser33 phosphorylation is essential for the association of K18 with 14-3-3 proteins and plays a role in keratin organization and distribution.

Description:
Human Chemokine (C-X-C Motif) Ligand 14 (CXCL14) is constitutively expressed in certain normal tissues but is reduced or absent from many established tumor cell lines and human cancers. CXCL14 is known to be a chemoattractant for monocyte and dendritic cells. CXCL14 inhibits angiogenesis and exhibits antimicrobial activities. Mature human and mouse CXCL14 differ by only 2 amino acid residues.

Description:
14-3-3 proteins are a family of highly conserved proteins that appear to have multiple roles in cell signaling (Bridges and Moorhead, 2005). The proteins are abundantly expressed in the brain and have been detected in the cerebrospinal fluid of patients with different neurological disorders (Berg et al., 2003). 14-3-3 proteins bind protein ligands that are typically phosphorylated on serine or threonine residues and regulate the functions of these binding partners by a number of different mechanisms (Silhan et al., 2004; Dougherty and Morrison, 2004). The 14-3-3 proteins affect a diverse array of cellular processes including the cell cycle and transcription, signal transduction and intracellular trafficking.
