Ciprofloxacin is a fluorinated quinolone antibacterial agent which is highly effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria and mycoplasma.
Ciprofloxacin is most commonly used to treat infections of the skin, bone, sinus, lung, abdomen, and bladder. It can also be used to treat some sexually transmitted infections. Additionally, ciprofloxacin can be used after exposure to inhalation anthrax to reduce the chance of developing an infection. During the proliferation phase of a bacterium a segmental twisting and untwisting of the chromosomes take place. An enzyme called DNA gyrase plays a decisive part in this process. Ciprofloxacin inhibits this DNA gyrase in a way that arrests the bacterial metabolism, since vital information can no longer be read from the bacterial chromosome. Ultimately, it affect DNA replication & cell division. Store at +4 °C.

The BCR-ABL oncogene triggers intracellular signaling, activating multiple transduction cascades, promoting the growth, proliferation and survival of hematopoietic cells. BCR-ABL plays a role in defective DNA repair, alteration of cellular adhesion and inhibition of apoptosis. Degregulated BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase activity is the molecular marker for CML. Inhibiting BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase activity leads to the induction of apoptosis and inhibits cellular proliferation in vitro and there are various BCR-ABL isoforms with differing activity levels as well. Dasatinib (BMS-354825, Sprycel®) is a potent multi-target kinase inhibitor of BCR-ABL. Dasatiinib performs better against ABL kinase than earlier drugs such as imatinib, and Dasatinib also is effective against SRC family of kinases, and other receptor kinases such as EPHA2, PDGFR, and c-Kit. Dasatinib's inhibiting potential against Src family kinase members is greater (IC(50) 0.5nM) than its inhibitory activity against ABL (1nM).

Biotin derivative. Substrate of the horseradish peroxidase enzyme and used as a reagent to amplify immunohistochemical signals. It is based on the HRP-catalyzed deposition of tyramide conjugates (such as biotinyl-tyramide) on a solid phase. Subsequent reaction with streptavidin fluorophore results in the localization of the fluorophore at the site of tyramide deposition. This fluorescence-based tyramide signal amplification (TSA) has been widely used in immunohistochemistry, immunohistochemistry, immunoelectron microscopy, fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) and fluorescence ELISA. The TSA method has been reported to increase the detection sensitivity up to 100-fold as compared with conventional avidin–biotinylated enzyme complex procedures. It can be used together with both chromogenic and fluorescence visualization methods. It can be added to any other standard IHC protocol and reduces the use of other reagents; improves signal to noise by reducing the titer of other reagents in the assay protocol and enables multi-target detection in both IHC and (F)ISH applications.
