Description:
ImmunoReagents’ FITC Conjugates are used in immunofluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, FLISA (fluorescent ELISA) and high throughput screening assays. Fluorescein is typically excited by the 488 nm line of an argon laser, and emission is collected at 518 nm. FITC antibody conjugates are yellow-orange in color but emit a yellow-green color upon Em 518 nm. FITC antibody conjugates are sensitive to light. The typical FITC to antibody ratio (F/P) is >4.0 Excitation/Emission = 494nm / 518nm Emission Color = Green (Similar Dyes: Alexa Fluor 488, Cy2, DyLight ® 488)
Description:
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a major cause of respiratory illness in young children. RSV infection produces a variety of signs and symptoms involving different areas of the respiratory tract, from the nose to the lungs. RSV is a negative sense, enveloped RNA virus. The virion is variable in shape and size with average diameter of between 120 and 300 nm.
Description:
The HP-3G10 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to an 80 kDa homodimer type II membrane glycoprotein from the C-type lectin superfamily, known as the human CD161 or NKR-P1A. CD161 is expressed on most natural killer cells, subsets of CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes, γδ TCR T lymphocytes, a subset of CD3+ thymocytes, and especially on CD45RO+ T lymphocytes. Reports indicate that it may serve as a specific receptor for some natural killer cell targets and a possible stimulatory role.
Description:
The 2.4G2 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with an epitope on the extracellular domain of the mouse CD16 (Fc γ III) and CD 32 (Fc γ II). CD16 and CD32 are low affinity receptors for the IgG Fc domain and are expressed by B lymphocytes, NK cells, kupffer cells, mast cells, monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes, immature thymocytes, neutrophils, and some activated mature T cells. The 2.4G2 antibody blocks the binding of immunoglobulins to CD16 and CD32, and possibly to Fc γ I receptor.

The XMG1.2 antibody is specific for mouse Interferon-gamma (IFN-g), a 20 kDa type II cytokine known for its central roles in protection against bacterial or viral pathogens and for its anti-tumor properties. IFN-g is secreted by several types of immune cells, which allow the cytokine to modulate innate immunity, when secreted by NK and NKT cells, and to function in supporting adaptive immunity when secreted by Th1 and CD8+ T cells (CTLs).

Description:
Cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI or MTCO1) is one of three mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) encoded subunits (MTCO1, MTCO2, MTCO3) of respiratory Complex IV. Complex IV is located within the mitochondrial inner membrane and is the third and final enzyme of the electron transport chain of mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation. Complex IV is composed of 13 polypeptides. Subunits I, II, and III (MTCO1, MTCO2, MTCO3) are encoded by mtDNA while subunits IV, Va, Vb, VIa, VIb, VIc, VIIa, VIIb, VIIc, and VIII are nuclear encoded. Mammalian MTCO1 has 12 membrane-spanning alpha-helices (I to XII).
Description:
Mutations in Rae1 and Gle2(Saccharomyces cerevisae homolog) genes have been shown to result in accumulation of poly(A)-containing mRNA in the nucleus, suggesting that the encoded proteins are involved in RNA export. It contains four WD40 motifs, and has been shown to localize to distinct foci in the nucleoplasm, to the nuclear rim, and to meshwork-like structures throughout the cytoplasm. This gene is thought to be involved in nucleocytoplasmic transport, and in directly or indirectly attaching cytoplasmic mRNPs to the cytoskeleton. Depletion of Rae1 from extracts or cells severely inhibits mitotic spindle assembly. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
