Volumetric Dilutors

Volumetric dilutors are used to perform volumetric or gravimetric sterile dilution, primarily for serial dilutions in microbiology. With automatic volumetric dilutors, there is no need to fill the tubes beforehand with dilution solution. Advanced models can store multiple programs and perform gravimetric dilution in milligrams using a laboratory balance. Tubes and syringes for use with volumetric dilutors are fully autoclavable, and some dilutors may feature a holder for autoclavable tips.
