Soluble in water (2 g/10 ml - clear solution), glycerol, alcohol, acetone. Practically insoluble in benzene, chloroform, ether, petroleum ether, carbondisulphide, carbon tetrachloride. Also soluble in ethanol (100 mg/ml - yellow to brown solution).
