Supplier: EPREDIA
Perfusion washes and fixatives are ready to use solution which are recommended by the NeuroScience Association.
There are three groups of solutions available.
Group I:
Perfusion wash and fixative technical grade. To be used for standard stains:
Perfusion wash: phosphate buffered saline 0.1 M
Phosphate buffer pH 7.2 to 7.4
Perfusion fixative: 10% phosphate buffered
Formaldehyde
Group II:
Perfusion wash and fixative reagent grade. To be used for standard and immunohistochemistry stains.
Perfusion wash: phosphate buffered saline 0.1 M
Phosphate buffer pH 7.2 to 7.4
Perfusion fixative: paraformaldehye 4%/sucrose
4% in phosphate buffer 0.2 M pH 7.2
Group III:
Perfusion wash and fixative superior reagent grade.
For the best results use this group. This is sodium cacodylate based for NSA’S disintegrative degeneration stain
Perfusion wash: 0.8% NaCl/0.4% dextrose/0.8% sucrose/ 0.023% CaCl2 /sodium
Cacodylate 0.034%
Perfusion fixative: 4% paraformaldehyde/4% sucrose/ 1.4% sodium cacodylate
