Solid supported carboxylic acid utilized in solid phase synthesis for coupling amino acids at amino terminus.

Carboxylic Acid Resin, MP, is a macroporous resin functionalized with a carboxylic acid acid end group. It is a weak cation exchange resin, and has a different scavenging profile than MP-TsOH (SCX) due to its weaker acidity. The resin is designed to perform well in affinity chromatography based separation of peptides and proteins under aqueous elution conditions.
