 FOLIC ACID, POWDER, USP is a water soluble B vitamin. As a medication, folic acid is used to treat folic acid deficiency associated with ulcerative colitis, alcoholism, kidney dialysis, and liver disease and certain types of anemia. The USP grade indicates it is graded suitable for personal care, cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications.
