VANILLIN, NF is an organic compound and can be found in its natural form in vanilla beans. It has a strong and intense vanilla like smell. As a phenolic aldehyde it is often used as a food flavoring agent and in a range of cosmetic and fragrant products as well cleaning products. It is also used for developing thin layer chromatography by acting as a general purpose stain. Spectrum Chemical manufactured NF grade products are manufactured, packaged and stored under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) per 21CFR part 211 in FDA registered and inspected facilities. Storage temperature - LIGHT SENSITIVE, MOISTURE SENSITIVE: Keep tightly closed in light-resistant containers.
