Description:   FAM129B, also known as Niban-like protein 1, belongs to a poorly characterized protein family with unknown category and function. Increased expression of the Niban gene has been observed in renal carcinomas. Suppression of FAM129B expression in HeLa cells has been seen to promote apoptosis, suggesting that it can modulate cell death signaling, and may be involved in the ER stress response. FAM129B is also up-regulated in various types of thyroid tumors and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. It has been suggested that the MAP kinase dependent phosphorylation of FAM129B is important in controlling melanoma cells, as inhibition of B/Raf/MKK/ERK in melanoma cells represses invasion. It is believed that phosphorylated FAM129B not only derepresses invasion, but also regulates events that promote invasion. FAM129B pS679/683 Antibody is ideal for researchers interested in cancer research.

Description:   The GK1.5 antibody reacts with mouse CD4, a 55 kDa protein which acts as a co-receptor for the T cell receptor (TCR) in its interaction with MHC Class II molecules on antigen-presenting cells. The extracellular domain of CD4 binds to the beta-2 domain of MHC Class II, while its cytoplasmic tail provides a binding site for the tyrosine kinase lck, facilitating the signaling cascade that initiates T cell activation. CD4 is typically expressed on thymocytes, certain mature T cell populations such as Th17 and T regulatory (Treg) cells, as well as on dendritic cells. The GK1.5 antibody is widely used as a phenotypic marker for CD4 expression. If used together, the GK1.5 antibody and an alternative antibody, Anti-Mouse CD4 clone RM4-5, will "compete" for binding, i.e. RM4-5 is able to block GK1.5 binding to cells. In contrast, the Anti-Mouse CD4 clone RM4-4 does not block binding of the GK1.5 antibody to cells (Arora S et al. 2006. Infect. Immun. 74: 4339-4348). The GK1.5 antibody is also reported to be cross-reactive with Syrian hamster CD4.
Supplier:  Tonbo Biosciences
Description:   The 2H7 antibody reacts with human CD20, expressed by pre-B cells, resting and activated B cells, follicular dendritic cells and a small subset of T cells, but not on plasma cells. CD20 is a 33-37 kDa transmembrane protein which is differentially phosphorylated in resting and active B cells. The CD20 molecule plays a role in regulating B-cell activation.
Supplier:  Tonbo Biosciences
Description:   The SK3 antibody reacts with human CD4, a 59 kDa protein which acts as a co-receptor for the T cell receptor (TCR) in its interaction with MHC Class II molecules on antigen-presenting cells. The extracellular domain of CD4 binds to the beta-2 domain of MHC Class II, while its cytoplasmic tail provides a binding site for the tyrosine kinase lck, facilitating the signaling cascade that initiates T cell activation. CD4, and co-receptors CCR5 and CXCR4, may also be utilized by HIV-1 to enter T cells. Human CD4 is typically expressed on thymocytes, some mature T cell populations such as Th17 and T regulatory (Treg) cells, as well as on dendritic cells. The SK3 antibody is widely used as a phenotypic marker for human CD4 expression, and has been reported to be cross-reactive with Rhesus and Cynomolgus CD4. This antibody does not block binding of alternative clone RPA-T4, suggesting that they recognize different epitopes.
Supplier:  Tonbo Biosciences
Description:   The 61D3 antibody is specific for human CD14, a 53-55 kDa GPI-anchored glycoprotein. CD14 is highly expressed on monocytes and to a lesser extent on interfollicular macrophages, and some dendritic cells. Together with LPS-Binding Protein (LBP), CD14 binds to and mediates the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
Supplier:  Tonbo Biosciences
Description:   The MOPC-21 immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype-matched control. The MOPC-21 immunolglobulin has an unknown binding specificity and is used as an isotype control for mouse IgG1 antibodies.

Description:   FGF13(Fibroblast growth factor 13), also called FHF2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FGF13 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF13is a large gene, extending over approximately 200 kb in Xq26.3, and contains at least 7 exons. By cytogenetic, FISH, and database analysis, Gecz et al. (1999) localized the FGF13 gene within a 400-kb duplication interval on chromosome Xq26.3. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion. Other areas of interests and use for researchers include cancer, borjeson-forssman-lehmann syndrome, regulation of actin cytoskeleton pathways, apoptosis, GPCR pathways, TGF-Beta pathways, and Rho familty GTPase pathways. This gene is located to a region associated with Borjeson-Forssman-Lehmann syndrome (BFLS), a syndromal X-linked mental retardation, which suggests it may be a candidate gene for familial cases of the BFL syndrome. The function of this gene has not yet been determined. Two alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
