Description:
ChT1, a member of the Ig superfamily with one V-like and one C2-like domain, is a T cell antigen that is expressed on the surface of embryonic thymocytes (day 10). In young chickens about 90% of the thymocytes as well as a subpopulation of peripheral lymphocytes, which represent recent thymic emigrants are ChT1 positive. Expression in the periphery declines with age and, in correlation with partial thymectomy, indicates that ChT1 can be used as an accurate marker for studying thymic function. The monoclonal antibody CT1 also recognizes the ChT1 antigen in quail cortical thymocytes.

Description:
This gene encodes the phosphatase 2A catalytic subunit. Protein phosphatase 2A is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. This gene encodes an alpha isoform of the catalytic subunit. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].

Description:
The 3D12 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD197 (CCR7 or EBI-1), a seven-transmembrane G-protein-coupled. It is the receptor for the secondary lymphoid-tissue chemokine (SLC or 6CKine), CCL19, and CCL21. CD197 is expressed on subsets of B and T cells, and mature dendritic cells. The monoclonal 3D12 antibody recognizes the N-terminus of the receptor.
We recommend that this antibody be incubated for at least 45 minutes at 4°C for optimal staining.

Description:
Mad2L1 is required for the execution of the mitotic checkpoint which monitors the process of kinetochore spindle attachment and delays the onset of anaphase when this process is not complete. It inhibits the activity of the anaphase promoting complex by sequestering CDC20 until all chromosomes are aligned at the metaphase plate.

Description:
This gene encodes a proline rich protein. Studies of the related mouse gene suggest that this gene is regulated by p53 and may participate in p53 mediated growth suppression. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
