Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   Acts as component of the MCM2-7 complex (MCM complex) which is the putative replicative helicase essential for 'once per cell cycle' DNA replication initiation and elongation in eukaryotic cells. The active ATPase sites in the MCM2-7 ring are formed through the interaction surfaces of two neighboring subunits such that a critical structure of a conserved arginine finger motif is provided in trans relative to the ATP-binding site of the Walker A box of the adjacent subunit. The six ATPase active sites, however, are likely to contribute differentially to the complex helicase activity (By similarity). Interacts with MCMBP.

Description:   Responsible for the post-transcriptional adenylation of the 3'-terminal of mRNA precursors and several small RNAs including signal recognition particle (SRP) RNA, nuclear 7SK RNA, U2 small nuclear RNA, and ribosomal 5S RNA.
Supplier:  Southern Biotechnology
Description:   In the chicken, the CD8 molecule is present in two forms - (i) a homodimer of two α chains and (ii) a heterodimer of an α chain and a β chain. Chicken CD8 is expressed on approximately 80% of thymocytes, 15% of blood mononuclear cells and 50% of spleen cells but less than 1% of cells in the bursa and bone marrow. While the vast majority of CD8+ cells in the thymus, spleen, and blood of adult chickens express both CD8α- and CD8β-chains, a relatively large proportion of the CD8+ TCRγδ cells in the spleens of embryos and young chicks express only the α-chain of CD8. Among intestinal epithelial lymphocytes, the major CD8+ T cell populations present in mice are conserved but there is a population of TCRγδ CD8αβ cells in the chicken that is not found in rodents. The monoclonal antibody EP72 recognizes the CD8α chain.

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   SUMO3 Antibody: Small ubiquitin-like modifiers (SUMOs) are a family of small, related proteins (Sumo-1/2/3/4) that can be enzymatically attached to a target protein by a post-translational modification process termed sumoylation, which is a major regulator of protein function in cellular processes such as nuclear transport, transcriptional regulation, apoptosis and protein stability. All SUMO proteins localize to the nucleus and are covalently conjugated, affecting protein structure, function and interactions. SUMO2 and 3 are 96% identical and are more mobile within nucleus relative to SUMO1. Specific functional differences between SUMO1 and SUMO2 and 3 remain to be identified.

Description:   Autophagy, the process of bulk degradation of cellular proteins through an autophagosomic-lysosomal pathway is important for normal growth control and may be defective in tumor cells. It is involved in the preservation of cellular nutrients under starvation conditions as well as the normal turnover of cytosolic components. This process is negatively regulated by TOR (Target of rapamycin) through phosphorylation of autophagy protein APG1. Another member of the autophagy family of proteins is ATG2B, one of two homologs of ATG2 that is essential for autophagosome formation and important for regulation of size and distribution of lipid droplets. Relatively high rates of ATG2B mutations were observed in gastric and colorectal carcinomas, suggesting that deregulating the autophagy process may contribute to cancer development.
