Description:
UCMA is a 138 amino acid secreted protein that is highly expressed in resting chrondrocytes in developing long bones and is thought to function in the early phase of chrondrocyte differentiation. A furin-like protease processes UCMA into an N-terminal 37 amino acid peptide and a C-terminal 74 amino acid peptide, which is referred to as Unique cartilage matrix-associated protein C-terminal fragment (Ucma-C). Introduction of recombinant Ucma-C interferes with osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells, MC3T3-E1 preosteoblasts and primary osteoblasts. This suggests that Ucma may be involved in the negative regulation of osteogenic differentiation of osteochondrogenic precursor cells at the cartilage-bone interface and in peripheral zones of fetal cartilage.

Description:
LAMTOR1 is a 161 amino acid membrane protein belonging to the LAMTOR family. It has been identified to interact with and recruit the four Rag GTPases (Rag A-D) to the surface of lysosomes (1). The mTORC1 kinase complex is a critical component in the regulation of cell growth (2). As part of the ragulator complex, LAMTOR1 recruits the Rag GTPases and the mTORC1 complex to lysosomes, a key step in activation of the TOR signaling cascade by amino acids (3). LAMTOR1 may be involved in cholesterol homeostasis regulating LDL uptake and cholesterol release from late endosomes / lysosomes (4).

Description:
Chemerin is a secreted chemoattractant protein that can signal through the chemokine like receptor-1 (CMKLR1). It is expressed in various tissues, including white adipose tissue, and circulates in blood as an inactive 143 amino acid precursor protein. Biologically active Chemerin is generated by proteolytic removal of C-terminal residues by several circulating proteases. Chemerin acts as a chemoattractant for cells expressing the CMKLR1 receptor, which includes certain dendritic cells, macrophages, and adipocytes. Recombinant human Chemerin is a 15.6 kDa protein consisting of 135 amino acid residues.

Description:
CUEDC1 Antibody: The CUE (coupling of ubiquitin conjugation to endoplasmic reticulum degradation) domain is an evolutionarily conserved, ~40 amino acid monoubiquitin-binding domain that mediates intramolecular monoubiquitylation. CUE domains are present in eukaryotic proteins that are involved in ubiquitination and protein trafficking pathways and may be required for ubiquitination of the proteins in which they are found. CUEDC1 (CUE domain-containing protein 1) is a 386 amino acid protein that contains one CUE domain, suggesting a possible role in protein trafficking and degradation pathways. Two isoforms of CUEDC1 exist due to alternative splicing events. Defects in the gene encoding CUEDC1 may be associated with early stage cervical cancer, implicating CUEDC1 as a potential tumor marker.
