Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   TULP2 is a member of a family of tubby-like genes (TULPs) that encode proteins of unknown function. Members of this family have been identified in plants, vertebrates, and invertebrates. The TULP proteins share a conserved C-terminal region of approximately 200 amino acid residues.TULP2 is a member of a family of tubby-like genes (TULPs) that encode proteins of unknown function. Description:   FXYD7 Antibody: FXYD7 is a member of a family of small membrane proteins that share a 35-amino acid signature sequence domain, beginning with the sequence PFXYD and containing seven invariant and six highly conserved amino acids. The FXYD proteins are tissue-specific regulators of Na, K-ATPase, with FXYD7 initially identified as a brain-specific member. FXYD7 interacts with Na, K-ATPase through its transmembrane domain and is thought to influence the affinity of Na, K-ATPase for external K+ and Na+ ions. Other members of the FXDY family have similar functions: FXYD2 regulates the properties of Na, K-ATPase, while FXYD1 (phospholemman), FXYD3 (MAT-8), FXYD4 (CHIF), and FXYD5 (RIC) have been shown to induce channel activity in experimental expression systems.

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   Insulin is a pancreatic hormone that regulates glucose and is involved in the synthesis of protein and fat. It increases cell permeability to monosaccharides, amino acids and fatty acids. It accelerates glycolysis, the pentose phosphate cycle, and glycogen synthesis in liver. Heterodimer of a B chain and an A chain linked by two disulfide bonds.Belongs to the insulin family. The insulin-link growth factors, IGF-I and IGF-II (also desinated somatomedin C and multiplication stimulating activator, respectvely), share approximatly 76% sequence identity and are 50% related to pro-insulin.IGF-I and IGF-II are nonglycosylated, single chain proteins of 70 and 76 amino acids in length, respectivelly. IGF-I functions as an autocrine regulator of growth in vaious, whereas the function of IGF-II is less well defined.

Description:   IL-20 is a member of the IL-10 family of regulatory cytokines, which includes IL-10, IL-19, IL-20, IL-22, IL-24 and IL-26. Members of this family share partial homology in their amino acid sequences, but they are dissimilar in their biological functions. IL-20 is a hematopoietic growth factor capable of stimulating colony formation by CD34+ multipotential progenitors, but not by other progenitor cells. IL-20 signals through a receptor system composed of type I IL-20Rα and type II IL-20Rβ. Over-expression of IL-20 in keratinocytes expressing both receptor subunits has been implicated in the induction of inflammatory skin disease. Recombinant Human IL-20 is a 35.2 kDa homodimeric protein consisting of two 153 amino acid polypeptide chains.

Description:   Produced in <i>E. coli.</i> Non-glycosylated protein, containing 165 amino acids.
Supplier:  Diagnostic Biosystems
Description:   This antibody reacts with a 52 to 56 kDa protein known as microphthalmia (Mi). This antibody reacts with both melanocytic and non-melanocytic isoforms of Mi. Mi is a basic helix-loop-helix-leucine zipper (b-HLH-ZIP) transcription factor implicated in pigmentation, mast cells and bone development. There are two known isoforms of Mi differing by 66 amino acids at the amino terminus.
