Catalog Number: (75934-872)

Supplier:  Rockland Immunochemical
Description:   The LIM homeobox transcription factor 1 (LMX1A) belongs to the LIM-homeodomain family. Members of this family are known to be important for pattern formation during development. LMX1A binds an A/T-rich sequence and functions in the nucleus as a transcriptional activator to the insulin gene promoter. In the developing embryo, LMX1A is expressed along the neuraxis and leads to the development of the roof plate of the vertebrae. While LMX1A is crucial for the differentiation of dopamine neurons, the related LMX1B appears to be important for both the development and the survival of these cells. It has been suggested that LMX1A might be a useful biomarker or risk factor in tumor aggressiveness.

Description:   GM-CSF (Granulocyte/macrophage - Colony-stimulating factor) is a hematopoietic factor that is produced by activated T-cells, B-cells, mast cells, macrophages, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells. In addition to supporting colony formation of granulocyte/macrophage progenitors, GM-CSF is a growth factor for erythroid, megakaryocyte, and eosinophil progenitors.

Supplier:  Rockland Immunochemical
Description:   CRIM1 (cysteine-rich motor neuron 1), a glycosylated type I transmembrane protein, plays a role in tissue development i.e. capillary formation and maintenance during angiogenesis. It contains an N-terminal IGF-binding protein-like motif and six von Willebrand-like cysteine-rich repeats (CRRs) in its extracellular domain. CRIM1 interacts with BMP4 and BMP7 via the CRRs and functions as an antagonist. CRIM1 is developmentally expressed in a number of tissues including the pancreas, kidney, placenta, brain and blood vessels. CRIM1 may participate in CNS and placental development by interacting with growth factors involved in motor neuron differentiation and survival.
Supplier:  Immunoreagents
Description:   ImmunoReagents’ Biotinylated antibody conjugates are widely used due to their ability to enhance antibody signal in most immunoassays. Biotinylated secondary antibodies are used in most immunoassay formats (i.e., ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and Western blotting). While Biotinylated antibodies by themselves do not produce a signal that can be visualized, biotin has a high affinity and specificity to Streptavidin/Avidin. Using ImmunoReagents’ streptavidin conjugates with biotinylated antibodies results in signal amplification.

Supplier:  Adipogen
Description:   Acrolein (ACR) is a representative carcinogenic aldehyde found ubiquitously in the environment and formed endogenously through oxidation reactions, such as lipid peroxidation and myeloperoxidasecatalyzed amino acid oxidation. ACR is highly reactive aldehyde and reacts with lysine residue in protein. The reaction with ACR and lysine residue leads to the formation of numerous numbers of adducts, such as formyl-dehydropiperidino-lysine (FDP-lysine) type derivative.
Supplier:  INDIGO BIOSCIENCES INC MS
Description:   Eliminate weeks of cell culture while achieving superior sensitivity with reproducible results from this all-inclusive cell-based luciferase reporter assay. INDIGO’s Zebrafish Thyroid Hormone Receptor beta reporter assay allows you to quickly screen test samples to quantify functional activity, either agonist or antagonist, they may exert against zTRb (NR1A2).

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   TCF7L1 participates in the Wnt signaling pathway. It binds to DNA and acts as a repressor in the absence of CTNNB1, and as an activator in its presence. It is necessary for the terminal differentiation of epidermal cells, the formation of keratohyalin granules and the development of the barrier function of the epidermis. TCF7L1 down-regulates NQO1, leading to increased mitomycin c resistance.

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   PON1 hydrolyzes the toxic metabolites of a variety of organophosphorus insecticides. It is capable of hydrolyzing a broad spectrum of organophosphate substrates and a number of aromatic carboxylic acid esters. It may mediate an enzymatic protection of low density lipoproteins against oxidative modification and the consequent series of events leading to atheroma formation.
Supplier:  LABNET INTERNATIONAL CA
Description:   GeneMate Deep-Well Plates have been designed for high-volume, high throughput laboratories. The 8 x 12, 96-well format of these plates is compatible with multichannel pipettes, automated pipetting stations, and robotic sample processors, as well as many of the most popular cell harvesters. These GeneMate plates can be used in many centrifuge microplate rotors, including Hermle and Beckman. The wells have round bottoms and are labeled alphanumerically. Both types of plates are resistant to DMSO and methanol and are compatible with the incubation conditions for radioligand binding assays. The polypropylene plates can be frozen at temperatures as low as -70°C, making them ideal for storage of biological samples.

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   Zfpm1 is a transcription regulator that plays an essential role in erythroid and megakaryocytic cell differentiation. It is essential cofactor that acts via the formation of a heterodimer with transcription factors of the GATA family. Zfpm1 may be involved in regulation of some genes in gonads and involved in cardiac development, in a non-redundant way with ZFPM2/FOG2.
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   Myomesin-1 and myomesin-2 are components of the vertebrate myofibrillar M band and are associated with Titin, Myosin and Connectin. The myomesin proteins are responsible for the formation of a head structure on one end of the Titin string that connects the Z and M bands of the sarcomere. Myomesin-1 and -2 have unique N-terminal domains and are expressed mainly in skeletal muscle. The gene encoding human myomesin-1 maps to chromosome 18p11.31-p11.32.
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   Mediates the voltage-dependent sodium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a sodium-selective channel through which Na(+) ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient. In macrophages and melanoma cells, isoform 5 may participate in the control of podosome and invadopodia formation.
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   Histone chaperone that facilitates histone deposition and histone exchange and removal during nucleosome assembly and disassembly. Cooperates with chromatin assembly factor 1 (CAF-1) to promote replication-dependent chromatin assembly and with HIRA to promote replication-independent chromatin assembly. Required for the formation of senescence-associated heterochromatin foci (SAHF) and efficient senescence-associated cell cycle exit.
