Description:
Porcine CD1 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of cell surface receptors. It has a domain organization similar to that of MHC class I molecules and is expressed in association with β2-microglobulin. CD1 is found on B cells, macrophages, and immature thymocytes. There is evidence for a role of CD1 in presentation of lipids and peptides to T cells.

Description:
CD95, also known as Fas and APO-1, is a 45 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. It is expressed by activated lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, fibroblasts, and cell lines. Fas ligand binding to CD95 induces apoptosis in activated mature lymphocytes thereby playing a role in maintaining peripheral tolerance.

Description:
The UCHL1 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD45RO, a 180 kDa isoform of the leukocyte common antigen CD45. CD45RO is a transmembrane glycoprotein with tyrosine phosphatase activity and is expressed by majority of thymocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, and activated memory T lymphocytes. The subsets of peripheral T lymphocytes can be discriminated by using the CD45RO and CD45RA expressing cells.

Description:
The 24F monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with CD86 (B7-2), a 90 kDA surface receptor present on antigen presenting cells and activated B and T cells. CD86 is a ligand for CD28 and CD152 and plays an essential role in B cell-T cell costimulatory interactions.
The 24F antibody is capable of blocking the co-stimulatory activity of CD86.

Description:
The monoclonal antibody 5H10.27 reacts with the α5 chain (VLA-5) of the CD49e/CD29 heterodimeric fibronectin receptor. It is expressed on thymocytes, activated T cells, mast cells, and a variety of mouse cell lines. Soluble 5H10.27 antibody inhibits VLA-5-mediated functions in vitro. Immobilized 5H10.27 has also been demonstrated to costimulate the proliferative response of CD8+ T cells to plate-bound anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody.

Description:
The WM53 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD33, a 67 kDA transmembrane glycoprotein also known as GP67 and P67. CD33 is expressed on monocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells, mast cells, and myeloid progenitors to the exclusion of hematopoietic stem cells, lymphocytes, and platelets. It functions to assist sialic acid-dependent cell adhesion.

Description:
IFN-induced dsRNA-dependent serine/threonine-protein kinase which plays a key role in the innate immune response to viral infection and is also involved in the regulation of signal transduction, apoptosis, cell proliferation and differentiation. Exerts its antiviral activity on a wide range of DNA and RNA viruses including hepatitis C virus (HCV), hepatitis B virus (HBV), measles virus (MV) and herpes simplex virus 1 (HHV-1). Inhibits viral replication via phosphorylation of the alpha subunit of eukaryotic initiation factor 2 (EIF2S1), this phosphorylation impairs the recycling of EIF2S1 between successive rounds of initiation leading to inhibition of translation which eventually results in shutdown of cellular and viral protein synthesis. Also phosphorylates other substrates including p53/TP53, PPP2R5A, DHX9, ILF3, IRS1 and the HHV-1 viral protein US11. In addition to serine/threonine-protein kinase activity, also has tyrosine-protein kinase activity and phosphorylates CDK1 at 'Tyr-4' upon DNA damage, facilitating its ubiquitination and proteosomal degradation. Either as an adapter protein and/or via its kinase activity, can regulate various signaling pathways (p38 MAP kinase, NF-kappa-B and insulin signaling pathways) and transcription factors (JUN, STAT1, STAT3, IRF1, ATF3) involved in the expression of genes encoding proinflammatory cytokines and IFNs. Activates the NF-kappa-B pathway via interaction with IKBKB and TRAF family of proteins and activates the p38 MAP kinase pathway via interaction with MAP2K6. Can act as both a positive and negative regulator of the insulin signaling pathway (ISP). Negatively regulates ISP by inducing the inhibitory phosphorylation of insulin receptor substrate 1 (IRS1) at 'Ser-312' and positively regulates ISP via phosphorylation of PPP2R5A which activates FOXO1, which in turn up-regulates the expression of insulin receptor substrate 2 (IRS2).
