Description:   CCL16 is a member of CC chemokine family. CCL16 cDNA encodes a 120 amino acid peptide along with a 23 amino acids signal peptide that is cleaved to generate 97 amino acid protein. CCL16 is distantly related to other CC chemokines, showing less than 30% sequence identity. CCL16 elicits its effects on cells by interacting with cell surface chemokine receptors such as CCR1, CCR2, CCR5 and CCR8. Recombinant CCL16 has been shown to chemoattract human monocytes and THP1 cells but not resting lymphocytes nor neutrophils. CCL16 has potent myelosuppressive activity, suppresses proliferation of myeloid progenitor cells. CCL16ninduces a calcium flux in THP1 cells that can be desensitized by prior exposure to RANTES, suggesting that CCL16 and RANTES share the same receptor in THP1 cells.
Supplier:  PeproTech, Inc.
Description:   SDF-1α and β are stromal-derived, CXC chemokines that signal through the CXCR4 receptor. SDF-1α and β chemoattract B and T cells, and have been shown to induce migration of CD34+ stem cells. Additionally, the SDF-1 proteins exert HIV-suppressive activity in cells expressing the CXCR4 receptor. Human and murine SDF-1 proteins act across species. SDF-1α and β contain the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in CXC chemokines. The mature SDF-1α protein is the result of alternative splicing of the SDF-1 gene and contains 68 amino acid residues. Recombinant Human SDF-1α (CXCL12) is an 8.0 kDa protein containing 68 amino acid residues.

Description:   Myeov is a 313 amino acid protein that is overexpressed in a variety of cancers and is thought to play a prominent role in tumor transformation and metastasis. The gene encoding Myeov maps to human chromosome 11, which comprises approximately 4% of human genomic DNA and is considered a gene and disease association dense chromosome. MYEOV2 (myeloma overexpressed 2) is a 57 amino acid protein that exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms and belongs to the MYEOV2 family. MYEOV2 is encoded by a gene that maps to human chromosome 2q37.3.

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   HCC-1 is a CC chemokine that signals through the CCR1 receptor and chemoattracts blood monocytes. It is secreted by various tissues including skeletal muscle, heart, spleen, liver, bone marrow and plasma. Mature HCC-1 is found in four different forms, which are distinguished by differential N-terminal truncation and contain 74, 72, 71, or 66 amino acid residues. Recombinant human HCC-1 (66 a.a.) is a 7.8 kDa protein consisting of 66 amino acids including the four highly conserved residues present in CC chemokines.

Description:   Recombinant full-length human MAPKAPK3 was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. MAPKAPK3 is closely related to MAPKAPK2 sharing 72% nucleotide and 75% amino acid identity.

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   Mature Myostatin is obtained by proteolytic processing of a biologically-inactive precursor protein, which contains an N-terminal propeptide of 243 amino acid residues. Myostatin Propeptide exhibits high binding affinity for myostatin and has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of Myostatin. Over-expression of myostatin propeptide in mice resulted in large increases (up to 200%) in skeletal muscle mass, similar to those observed in Myostatin knockout mice. Recombinant Human Myostatin Propeptide is a 27.8 kDa protein consisting of 244 amino acid residues.
Supplier:  Chem Impex International
Description:   Chloromethyl polystyrene and styrene monomers are copolymerized in order to obtain the Merrifield resin. This method avoids the use of carcinogenic chloromethyl methyl ether. This resin is used in the synthesis of peptide acids using Boc strategy and can be cleaved using HF or TFMSA. Different Boc protected amino acids attached to this resin are also available from stock. Please inquire.
