Supplier:
Bachem Americas
Description:
Sequence: 6-Carboxy-fluorescein
Synonym(s): 6-FAM#2-(6-Hydroxy-3-oxo-3H-xanthen-9-yl)-terephthalic acid
Supplier:
Adipogen
Description:
5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein diacetate N-succinimidyl ester is a useful fluorescent tracer that can passivley diffuse into cells and covalently label intracellular proteins, resulting in long-term cell labeling. The reagent itself is colorless and nonfluorescent but becomes brightly green fluorescent once it is hydrolyzed by intracellular esterases.

Description:
BCECF (2′,7′ –bis-(Carboxyethyl)-5-(and-6)-carboxyfluorescein) is the most widely used fluorescent pH sensor. Because its pKa (6.97) is close to physiological pH, BCECF can detect cytosolic pH change with high sensitivity.

Description:
5(6)-FAM SE (full name: 5-(and-6)-Carboxyfluorescein, succinimidyl ester mixed isomers) is an amine-reactive green fluorescent dye widely used for labeling proteins or other molecules that contain a primary or secondary aliphatic amine. The coupling reaction is usually carried out at pH 8-9.5. The amide linkage from the coupling reaction is much more stable than the thiourea linkage formed from the coupling of an amine and an isothiocyanate.

Description:
6-CFDA is membrane-permeant and thus can be loaded into cells via incubation. Once inside the cells, 6-CFDA is hydrolyzed by intracellular esterases to 6-carboxyfluorescein. Reagent for continuously determining the intracellular pH in bacteria by fluorometry. Labeling human intervertebral disk cells in vitro for fluorescence microscopy.

Description:
5-CFDA is membrane-permeant and can be loaded into cells via incubation. Once inside the cells, 5-CFDA is hydrolyzed by intracellular esterases to 5-carboxyfluorescein. It has been used for labeling human intervertebral disk cells in vitro for fluorescence microscopy. Continuous determination of the intracellular pH in bacteria by fluorometry.

Description:
Popular green fluorescent cell-permeable dye. Covalently couples via its succinimidyl group to intracellular molecules. The amine-reactive succinimidyl ester of 5-FAM acid is a common fluorescent derivatization reagent for covalently labeling peptides, proteins and nucleotides. Due to this covalent coupling reaction it can be retained within cells for extremely long periods and due to this stable linkage, once incorporated within cells the dye is not transferred to adjacent cells. Yields carboxyamides which are more resistant to hydrolysis than fluorescein conjugates prepared with FITC. Better retained in cells than fluorescein. Used in fluorescent small molecule preparations. Spectral data: lambdaex 494 nm| lambdaem 520 nm (Buffer pH 9.0).
