Dimethyl Sulfoxide is ideal for use as a cryoprotectant. Also used in chemical reactions, in polymerase chain reactions (PCR) as a PCR cosolvent to help improve yields, especially in long PCR, and as a cryoprotectant vitrification agent for the preservation of cells, tissues and organs. DMSO is used in cell freezing media to protect cells from ice crystal-induced mechanical injury. It is used for frozen storage of primary, sub-cultured, and recombinant heteroploid and hybridoma cell lines, embryonic stem cells (ESC), and hematopoietic stem cells. DMSO is frequently used in the combinations with BSA or fetal bovine serum (FBS). Used to enhance dermal absorption of many chemicals. A solvent for many organic and inorganic compounds including fats, carbohydrates, dyes, resins, and polymers. Used in antifreeze or hydraulic fluids. A cryopreservative for cell cultures. Used in the oxidation of thiols and disulfides to sulfonic acids.
Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is a highly polar aprotic organic reagent that has exceptional solvent properties for organic and inorganic chemicals Physical Apppearance: Liquid Viscosity: 1.1 centipoises (27 °C) Vapor Density: 2.7 (vs air) Vapor Pressure: 0.55 hPa at 20 °C, 0.42 mmHg (20 °C) Refractive Index: n20/D 1.479(lit.) Solubility: Soluble in water (1 mL DMSO + 1 mL H2O), methanol, acetone, ether, benzene, chloroform

Peroxidase-Conjugated Goat IgG Fraction to Human IgG (Whole Molecule) is the lyophilized powder of horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated goat IgG fraction to human IgG (whole molecule) and buffer salts.
Peroxidase-Conjugated Goat IgG Fraction to Human IgG (Whole Molecule) has been used in dot blot. It is suitable for use as a reagent in enzyme immunoassays (EIA), cell and immunostaining of acetone-fixed frozen and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections, cell and tissue labeling (for electron microscopy), and blot immunostaining. Note: F(ab')₂ fragments are recommended for staining of cells or tissues which contain Fc receptors. Affinity purified antibodies or their fragments are recommended to avoid non-specific binding from inherent antibodies of host animals. Antibody and highly purified HRP (Rz>3.0) are conjugated under defined conditions to obtain optimally labeled product. Conjugated protein is purified by salt fractionation. The product is dialyzed into 0.02M sodium phosphate, 0.14M sodium chloride, pH 7.3, with 0.01% thimerosal, adjusted to standard titer, filtered through a 0.22 µm filter, vialed and lyophilized. The total protein is measured using the Biuret procedure with bovine albumin as the standard. To ensure that the product titer falls within the required range, antibody titer is standardized by microtiter plate ELISA with human IgG. The product is tested for purity and specificity at final concentration by immunoelectrophoresis.

Description:
Folic acid, also known as folate, is a B vitamin that can be found in a variety of fruits and vegetables. It can also be chemically synthesized. Folate, a watersoluble vitamin, helps the body form red blood cells and aids in the formation of genetic material within every body cell. This product exhibits metal binding properties. Hematopoietic vitamin present, free or combined with one or more additional molecules of L-(+)-glutamic acid, in liver, kidney, mushrooms, spinach, yeast, green leaves, and grasses.
Folic acid (Vitamin B9 and folate) is essential to numerous bodily functions. The human body needs folate to synthesize DNA, repair DNA, and methylate DNA as well as to act as a cofactor in certain biological reactions. It is especially important in aiding rapid cell division and growth, such as in infancy and pregnancy. Folic acid (FA) and dihydrofolic acid (FAH2) are substrates of dihydrofolate reductase(s) which reduce them to tetrahydrofolate (THF), which in turn supports ‘one carbon’ transfer. Tetrahydrofolates are required for de novo synthesis of purines, thymidylic acid and various amino acids and for post-translational methylation (epigenetics). Very slightly soluble in cold water (0.0016 mg/mL at 25 °C), soluble to about 1% in boiling water. Slightly soluble in methanol, appreciably less soluble in ethanol and butanol. Insoluble in acetone, chloroform, ether, benzene. Relatively soluble in acetic acid, phenol, pyridine, solutions of alkali hydroxides and carbonates. Soluble in hot dilute HCl and H2SO4.
