Catalog Number: (10414-510)

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   This gene product belongs to the histone deacetylase family. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes, and are responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues at the N-terminal regions of core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). This protein forms transcriptional repressor complexes by associating with many different proteins, including YY1, a mammalian zinc-finger transcription factor. Thus, it plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2010].
Catalog Number: (10475-756)

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   KLHL3 protein contains a poxvirus and zinc finger domain at the N-terminus and six tandem repeats (kelch repeats) at the C-terminus. At the amino acid level, KLHL3 shares 77% similarity with Drosophila kelch and 89% similarity with Mayven (KLHL2), another human kelch homolog. At least three isoforms are produced and may be the result of alternative promoter usage. The KLHL3 maps within the smallest commonly deleted segment in myeloid leukemias characterized by a deletion of 5q; however, no inactivating mutations of KLHL3 could be detected in malignant myeloid disorders with loss of 5q.

Description:   SDS is an anionic detergent typically used to solubilize and denature proteins for electrophoresis.
SDS is used to solubilize and denature protein for Protein Electrophoresis & Blotting. SDS has also been used in large-scale phenol extraction of RNA to promote the dissociation of protein from nucleic acids when extracting from biological material. Surfactant used for mild, efficient, and greener dethioacetalization.
Store at Room Temperature (15-30 °C).

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   KLK3, also known as APS, is short for Prostate-specific antigen. It is a 261 aa. protein which belongs to the peptidase S1 family and Kallikrein subfamily. This protein has 5 isforms produced by alternative splicing. It is a secreted protein and can forms a heterodimer with SERPINA5 which can inhibit its activity. KLK3 is also strongly inhibited by Zn2+, 100 times more abundant in semen than in serum. This inhibition is relieved by exposure to semenogelins, which are avid zinc binders. KLK3 can hydrolyzes semenogelin-1 thus leading to the liquefaction of the seminal coagulum.

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   TRIM24 Antibody: TRIM24 (TIF1), a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family, plays a role in the regulation of cell proliferation and apoptosis. TRIM24 localizes to nuclear bodies and is thought to associate with chromatin and heterochromatin-associated factors. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains (RING, B-box type 1 and B-box type 2) and a coiled-coil region. TIF1 mediates transcriptional events by interactions with the AF2 region of several nuclear receptors, such as the estrogen, retinoic acid and vitamin D3 receptors. Defects in TRIM24 are a cause of thyroid papillary carcinoma (TPC).
