Description:
RuBisCO catalyzes two reactions: the carboxylation of D-ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate, the primary event in carbon dioxide fixation, as well as the oxidative fragmentation of the pentose substrate in the photorespiration process. Both reactions occur simultaneously and in competition at the same active site.Sequence similarities: Belongs to the RuBisCO large chain family. Type I subfamily.Post-translational modifications: The disulfide bond which can form between Cys-247 in the large chain dimeric partners within the hexadecamer appears to be associated with oxidative stress and protein turnover (By similarity). The disulfide bonds reported in 1RBO may be the result of oxidation during crystallization.

Description:
EphA3 is a member of the Ephrin (Eph) family. The Ephrins and Eph-related receptors comprise the largest subfamily of receptor protein-tyrosine kinases and have been implicated in mediating developmental events, especially in the nervous system and in erythropoiesis. Based on their structures and sequence relationships, ephrins are divided into the Ephrin A (EphA) class, which are anchored to the membrane by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol linkage, and the Ephrin B (EphB) class, which are transmembrane proteins. Receptors in the EPH subfamily typically have a single kinase domain and an extracellular region containing a Cys-rich domain and 2 fibronectin type III repeats.

Description:
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 19L (TNFRSF19L), also known as Receptor expressed in lymphoid tissues and RELT, is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. TNFRSF19L is a single-pass type membrane protein and contains one TNFR-Cys repeat. TNFRSF19L is highly expressed in spleen, lymph node, thymus, peripheral blood leukocytes, bone marrow and fetal liver. It has been shown TNFRSF19L activates the NF-kappaB pathway and selectively binds TNF receptor-associated factor 1 (TRAF1). TNFRSF19L is capable of stimulating T-cell proliferation in the presence of CD3 signaling, which suggests its regulatory role in immune response.

Description:
Ubiquitin Carboxyl-Terminal Hydrolase 14 (USP14) belongs to the ubiquitin-specific processing (USP) family which is a deubiquitinating enzyme (DUB) with His and Cys domains. USP14 located in the cytoplasm is a proteasome-associated deubiquitinase which releases ubiquitin from the proteasome targeted ubiquitinated proteins. USP14 acts also as a physiological inhibitor of endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) under the non-stressed condition by inhibiting the degradation of unfolded endoplasmic reticulum proteins via interaction with ERN1. In addition, USP14 is indispensable for synaptic development and function at neuromuscular junctions, required for the degradation of the chemokine receptor CXCR4 which is critical for CXCL12-induced cell chemotaxis.

Description:
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 21(DR6) is a single-pass type I membrane protein and contains 1 death domain and 4 TNFR-Cys repeats. The protein may activate NF-kappa-B and promote apoptosis and it may activate JNK and be involved in T-cell differentiation. It is required for both normal cell body death and axonal pruning. Trophic-factor deprivation triggers the cleavage of surface APP by beta-secretase to release sAPP-beta which is further cleaved to release an N-terminal fragment of APP (N-APP). N-APP binds TNFRSF21 triggering caspase activation and degeneration of both neuronal cell bodies (via caspase-3) and axons (via caspase-6).

Description:
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 18(Gitr) contains 3 TNFR-Cys repeats and it have four isforms.IsformA、isformB and isformC is single-pass type I membrane protein and isformD is a secreted protein. The protein is the receptor for TNFSF18.It seems to be involved in interactions between activated T-lymphocytes and endothelial cells and in the regulation of T-cell receptor-mediated cell death. It mediated NF-kappa-B activation via the TRAF2/NIK pathway. It binds to TRAF1, TRAF2, and TRAF3, but not TRAF5 and TRAF6 and binds through its C-terminus to SIVA1/SIVA.It preferentially expressed in activated T lymphocytes and up-regulated in peripherical mononuclear cells after antigen stimulation/lymphocyte activation.

Description:
Neurturin is a disulfide-linked homodimer neurotrophic factor structurally related to GDNF, Artemin, and Persephin. These proteins belong to the cysteine-knot family of growth factors that assume stable dimeric structures. Neurturin signals through a multicomponent receptor system, composed of RET and one of four GFR alpha (alpha1-alpha4) receptors. Neurturin promotes the development and survival of sympathetic and sensory neurons by signaling through a receptor system composed of RET and GFRalpha2. The functional form of human Neurturin is a disulfide-linked homodimer, of two 11.8 kDa polypeptide monomers (206 total amino acid residues). Each monomer contains seven conserved cysteine residues, one of which (Cys 69) is used for inter-chain disulfide bridging and the others are involved in intramolecular ring formation known as the cysteine knot configuration.

Description:
Sestrins, including sestrin-1 (PA26), sestrin-2 (Hi95), and sestrin-3, are 48 to 65 kDa cystein sulfinyl reductases and they modulate peroxide signaling and antioxidant defense. These proteins selectively reduce or repair hyperoxidized forms of typical 2-Cys peroxiredoxins within eukaryotes. Expression of these proteins is regulated by p53, a tumor suppressor protein. Sestrin 3 was identified as a forkhead box O (FoxO) target gene with antioxidant activity. Recently it was reported that sestrin 3 may play an important role in AKT induced increase in ROS and it might be a promising target in selectively killing cancer cells containing high levels of AKT activity.

Description:
Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 1B (TNFRSF1B) is a member of the Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily. TNFRSF1B contains four TNFR-Cys repeats. TNFRSF1B can be cleaved into the following 2 chains: Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 1b and membrane form and Tumor necrosis factor-binding protein 2. TNFRSF1B is a receptor with high affinity for TNFSF2/TNF- alpha and approximately 5-fold lower affinity for homotrimeric TNFSF1/lymphotoxin- alpha. TNFRSF1B mediates most of the metabolic effects of TNF- alpha. TNF- alpha-induced apoptosis suggests that it regulates TNF- alpha function by antagonizing its biological activity.
