Description:
The JES6-5H4 antibody specifically binds to mouse IL-2, a 17 kDa immunoregulatory cytokine and growth factor for T and B lymphocytes, NK cells, monocytes, and macrophages. IL-2 induces the cytotoxic operations of NK cells, activates B cells, and plays a role in the differentiation of T cells. JES6-5H4 seems to have a neutralizing effect on interleukin-2.

Description:
The HB15e monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD83, a 43kDA single chain type I glycoprotein also known as HB15. A useful marker for mature human dendritic cells, it is also expressed on some activated lymphocytes. CD83’s precise role has not been deduced, but it is thought to be involved in antigen presentation.

Description:
The 2C9.G3 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the mouse/rat CD61 molecule, known as the integrin beta 3 that forms the vitronectin receptor with CD51. The complex binds to other ligands such as fibrinogen, fibronectin, thrombospondin, and von WIllebrand factor. It is expressed by granulocytes, platelets, activated T cells, smooth muscle, and a subset of B cells.

Description:
The MP4-25D2 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human Interleukin-4 (IL-4), expressed by the activated T cells and mast cells. IL-4 is species-specific and stimulates the proliferation and differentiation of B lymphocytes. It upregulates the expression of IgE receptors and class II MHC antigen. The MP4-25D2 is a neutralizing antibody and is reported to be cross-reactive with rhesus monkeys.

Description:
The GGA family of proteins (Golgi-localized, ARF-binding proteins) are ubiquitous coat proteins that facilitate the trafficking of soluble proteins from the trans-Golgi network (TGN) to endosomes/lysosomes by means of interactions with TGN-sorting receptors, ARF (ADP-ribosylation factor), and clathrin (1?). Members of the GGA family, GGA1,GGA2 (also known as VEAR) and GGA3, are multidomain proteins that bind mannose 6-phosphate receptors (MPRs) (1,2,4). GGAs have modular structures with an N-terminal VHS (VPS-27, Hrs, and STAM) domain followed by a GAT (GGA and TOM1) domain, a connecting hinge segment, and a C-terminal GAE (?adaptin ear) domain (5). The amino-terminal VHS domains of GGAs form complexes with the cytoplasmic domains of sorting receptors by recognizing acidic-cluster di-leucine (ACLL) sequences (3). GGA1 and GGA2 do not associate with each other, but they do colocalize on perinuclear membranes (2). The cytosolic domain of memapsin 2, but not that of memapsin 1, binds the VHS domains of GGA1 and GGA2 (6). The human GGA1 gene maps to chromosome 22 and encodes a protein that shares 45% sequence identity with GGA2 and GGA3 (1).

Description:
The LN3 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the human leukocyte antigen-DR (HLA-DR), a MHC class II heterodimeric surface glycoprotein. HLA-DR is expressed on the antigen presenting surfaces of monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, activated T cells, and B cells. It is integral to peptide presentation to CD4+ T cells.

Description:
The WM-15 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD13, 150-170 type II transmembrane ectoenzyme also named aminopeptidase N and gp150. It is expressed by granulocytes and monocytes, epithelial cells, and endothelial cells. CD13 plays a role in the terminal degradation of peptides, antigen processing, and chemokine cleavage, and cellular adhesion.

Description:
The O323 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to the human CD27, which is a lymphocyte-specific member of the TNF/NGF-R family, expressed on a subset of human thymocytes and the majority of the mature T cells. CD27 is upregulated by T lymphocytes stimulation, and binds to CD70, enhancing the interaction between T and B lymphocytes. CD27 is a marker of memory B cells.
