Description:
Component of the BRCA1-A complex, a complex that specifically recognizes 'Lys-63'-linked ubiquitinated histones H2A and H2AX at DNA lesions sites, leading to target the BRCA1-BARD1 heterodimer to sites of DNA damage at double-strand breaks (DSBs). The BRCA1-A complex also possesses deubiquitinase activity that specifically removes 'Lys-63'-linked ubiquitin on histones H2A and H2AX. In the BRCA1-A complex, it acts as a central scaffold protein that assembles the various components of the BRCA1-A complex and mediates the recruitment of BRCA1.

Description:
Sirtuin-6 is a NAD-dependent protein deacetylase with activity towards 'Lys-9' and 'Lys-56' of histone H3. Modulates acetylation of histone H3 in telomeric chromatin during the S-phase of the cell cycle. Required for genomic stability and for normal IGF1 serum levels and normal glucose homeostasis. Modulates cellular senescence and apoptosis. Regulates the production of TNF protein.

Description:
This is a Histone 3 lysine 36 dimethylated peptide. This peptide has been shown to recruit histone deacetylase complex with nucleosomes and repress transcription. In addition, owing to its epigenetic repressive mark, it allows demethylation by a Jumonji C-domain family member, JMJD5 that functions as a transcription activator by inhibiting HDAC, and regulates cell cycle proliferation.

Description:
An RGD tumor-targeting peptide, which binds to αvβ3 receptors. c(RGDfK) can be easily conjugated to fluorophore tags, chelators, or carriers. Palecek et al. converted the ε-amino group into the azide by diazo transfer allowing further functionalization by click chemistry. Mercapto groups can be introduced via acylation of c(RGDfK) with S-acetylthioacetic acid (SATA).

Description:
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase which targets misfolded chaperone substrates towards proteasomal degradation. Collaborates with ATXN3 in the degradation of misfolded chaperone substrates: ATXN3 restricting the length of ubiquitin chain attached to STUB1/CHIP substrates and preventing further chain extension. Ubiquitinates NOS1 in concert with Hsp70 and Hsp40. Modulates the activity of several chaperone complexes, including Hsp70, Hsc70 and Hsp90. Mediates transfer of non-canonical short ubiquitin chains to HSPA8 that have no effect on HSPA8 degradation. Mediates polyubiquitination of DNA polymerase beta (POLB) at 'Lys-41', 'Lys-61' and 'Lys-81', thereby playing a role in base-excision repair: catalyzes polyubiquitination by amplifying the HUWE1/ARF-BP1-dependent monoubiquitination and leading to POLB-degradation by the proteasome. Mediates polyubiquitination of CYP3A4. Ubiquitinates EPHA2 and may regulate the receptor stability and activity through proteasomal degradation. Negatively regulates the suppressive function of regulatory T-cells (Treg) during inflammation by mediating the ubiquitination and degradation of FOXP3 in a HSPA1A/B-dependent manner.

Description:
Deubiquitinating enzyme that plays a key role in chromatin by mediating deubiquitination of histone H2A and HCFC1. Catalytic component of the PR-DUB complex, a complex that specifically mediates deubiquitination of histone H2A monoubiquitinated at 'Lys-119' (H2AK119ub1). Does not deubiquitinate monoubiquitinated histone H2B. Acts as a regulator of cell growth by mediating deubiquitination of HCFC1 N-terminal and C-terminal chains, with some specificity toward 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitin chains compared to 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Deubiquitination of HCFC1 does not lead to increase stability of HCFC1. Interferes with the BRCA1 and BARD1 heterodimer activity by inhibiting their ability to mediate ubiquitination and autoubiquitination. It however does not mediate deubiquitination of BRCA1 and BARD1. Able to mediate autodeubiquitination via intramolecular interactions to couteract monoubiquitination at the nuclear localization signal (NLS), thereby protecting it from cytoplasmic sequestration (PubMed:24703950). Acts as a tumor suppressor.

Description:
The CD45 antigen is an essential regulator of leukocyte activation and development and is now known to be a protein tyrosine phosphatase, e.g., CD45 is able to dephosphorylate the Src family of protein kinases. This activity is now known to be required for signal transduction induced by T and B cell antigen receptor engagement, cytokine signaling, and Fc receptor stimulation. The functional state of CD45 also has a pronounced effect on lymphocyte development. CD45 exists in multiple forms, such as the restricted variants (CD45R; see companion products 1660, 1665, 1675, 1685, and 1820) and as allelic forms CD45.1 (Ly-5.1) and CD45.2 (Ly-5.2). The former arises as a result of alternative splicing of different exons. The specificity of antibodies to CD45.1 and CD45.2 has been exploited in studies where resolution of donor and recipient cells is essential, such as in gene therapy or bone marrow transplantation. The monoclonal antibody A20 recognizes all mouse leukocytes expressing the CD45.1 allotype.
