Description:
The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with all isoforms of CD45 and also with the alloantigens CD45.1 and CD45.2 (LCA). CD45 is a transmembrane glycoprotein, expressed by all the hematopoietic cells, except for platelets and mature erythrocytes, which distinguishes the leukocytes from the non-hematopoietic cells. The CD45 molecule is a member of the Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase (PTP) family, because its intracellular region contains two PTP domains. The extracellular region’s variability is caused by different levels of glycosylation, and the splicing of the 4, 5, and 6 exons.The isoforms found in the mouse strains depend on the activation state, maturation stage and cell type, and are very important in B and T lymphocytes antigen receptor signal transduction.

CD3 is expressed on thymocytes, mature T cells, and natural killer T cells, and the ε chain enhances the antigen recognition.The 145-2C11 antibody binds to the TCR complex and, depending on the conditions, initiates T cells activation, proliferation, and apoptosis. The soluble antibody seems to block lysis of target cells by antigen-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes. CD4 is expressed on most thymocytes, a subpopulation of mature T lymphocytes, dendritic cells, pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells, B cell precursors, and lymphoid precursors inside the thymus. It is also expressed on the mouse egg cell membrane, enhancing adhesion to MHC class II bearing sperm. By interaction with MHC class II on the surface of APC, CD4 initiates the development of T lymphocytes and helps the optimum functioning of mature T lymphocytes. MINPP1 also converts 2,3 bisphosphoglycerate (2,3-BPG) to 2-phosphoglycerate. MINPP1 is synthesized as a 487 amino acid precursor that contains an 30 amino acid signal peptide and a 457 amino aicd mature chain. MINPP1 is widely expressed with the highest levels found in kidney, liver and placenta. It acts as a phosphoinositide 5- and phosphoinositide 6-phosphatase and regulates cellular levels of inositol pentakisphosphate (InsP5) and inositol hexakisphosphate (InsP6). MINPP1 may play a role in bone development (endochondral ossification).
