Supplier:  Adipogen
Description:   Lipophilic fluorescent pH indicator used to assay biogenic amines with optodes. The deprotonated version enables excitation with red light (LED) (Ex/Em: 605/680nm) versus the acidic form (Ex/Em: 520/600nm). The ester functionality renders the indicator molecule lipophilic and water-insoluble but also prevents lactonization of the dye in an apolar environment.

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   Hydrolyzes the toxic metabolites of a variety of organophosphorus insecticides. Capable of hydrolyzing a broad spectrum of organophosphate substrates and lactones, and a number of aromatic carboxylic acid esters. Mediates an enzymatic protection of low density lipoproteins against oxidative modification and the consequent series of events leading to atheroma formation.

Description:   Anti-Glucose Dehydrogenase antibody recognizes glucose dehydrogenase. A member of the oxidoreductase family that acts on CH-OH group on donors, glucose dehydrogenase uses NAD+ or NADP+ as the acceptor. Glucose dehyrogenase reacts with beta-D-glucose to produce D-glucono-1,5-lactone and depending on the acceptor, either NADH or NADPH.

Anti-Glucose Dehydrogenase is ideal for investigators interested in Metabolism, Cancer, and Signal Transduction.
Supplier:  MP Biomedicals
Description:   L-threonine is classified as an essential amino acid. Synthesised from homoserine phosphate by threonine synthase or from acetaldehyde and glycine by serine hydroxy methyltransferase.

Description:   Glucose Oxidase is a dimeric enzyme that binds to β-D-glucose and aids in its oxidation into D-glucono-1,5-lactone which then hydrolyzes to gluconic acid. Flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) is a cofactor to Glucose Oxidase that acts as the initial electron acceptor and is required for this oxidation to occur. Glucose Oxidase is a natural preservative found in honey, where it reduces atmospheric oxygen into hydrogen peroxide which acts as an antibacterial barrier. Glucose Oxidase is also commonly used in biosensors in which it conveys levels of glucose by keeping track of the number of electrons passed through the enzyme. In this application, Glucose Oxidase is connected to an electrode and the resulting charge is measured.
