Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   The 2.4G2 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with an epitope on the extracellular domain of the mouse CD16 (Fc gamma III) and CD 32 (Fc gamma II). CD16 and CD32 are low affinity receptors for the IgG Fc domain and are expressed by B lymphocytes, NK cells, kupffer cells, mast cells, monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes, immature thymocytes, neutrophils, and some activated mature T cells. The 2.4G2 antibody blocks the binding of immunoglobulins to CD16 and CD32, and possibly to Fc gamma I receptor.

Description:   XAB2 protein (XPA binding protein 2) was first identified through its interaction with XPA, a key factor in nucleotide excision repair pathways. XAB2 therefore appears to be involved in transcription coupled DNA repair and transcription. Immunoprecipitation experiments have also demonstrated that a fraction of XAB2 interacts with the transcription coupled repair specific proteins CSA and CSB as well as with RNA polymerase II. Microinjection experiments with XAB2 resulted in the inhibition of both transcription coupled repair and transcription.

Description:   The NOK-1 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD178, which is the CD95 or Fas ligand. CD178 is a TNF superfamily type II transmembrane glycoprotein expressed by activated T and NK cells and is involved in Fas-mediated apoptosis of lymphocytes. CD178 is also expressed by monocytes, neutrophils, granulocytes and the parenchymal cells of the retina and cornea. The NOK-1 antibody has been reported to bind to COOH-terminus of the Fas ligand in the region associated with Fas binding.

Description:   Dectin-1 and dectin-2 are type II transmembrane proteins of the C-type lectin family. They contain single carbohydrate recognition domains (CRDs) in their extracellular region. Dectin-1 and dectin-2 are expressed in macrophages and dendritic cells. Dectin-1 recognizes beta-glucans with its CRD and signals through its immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM)-like motif in the cytoplasmic domain, whereas dectin-2 recognizes alpha-mannans and transduces its signal through association with the ITAM-containing Fc receptor gamma-chain.

Description:   PTP4A2, also known as PRL2 or PTPCAAX2, is short for Protein tyrosine phosphatase type IVA 2. This protein exists in cell membrane, cytoplasm, endosome and membrane. PTP4A2 is often farnesylated during post-translational modification. Farnesylation is required for membrane targeting and for interaction with RABGGTB. The unfarnesylated forms are redirected to the nucleus and cytosol. It can stimulate progression from G1 into S phase during mitosis and promotes tumors. It also inhibits geranylgeranyl transferase type II activity by blocking the association between RABGGTA and RABGGTB.

Description:   The HIB19 monoclonal antibody reacts with a human 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein known as CD19, which is expressed by B lymphocytes during all the developmental stages, except for the terminally differentiated plasma cells. CD19 is also expressed on follicular dendritic cells, and seems to ensure the regulation of B lymphocytes proliferation. CD19, CD21, CD81, MHC class II, and Leu13 can bind together and form a complex which associates with the B cell receptor (BCR) on the surface of B lymphocytes and facilitates the signal transduction.

Description:   The HP-3G10 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to an 80 kDa homodimer type II membrane glycoprotein from the C-type lectin superfamily, known as the human CD161 or NKR-P1A. CD161 is expressed on most natural killer cells, subsets of CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes, gamma delta TCR T lymphocytes, a subset of CD3+ thymocytes, and especially on CD45RO+ T lymphocytes. Reports indicate that it may serve as a specific receptor for some natural killer cell targets and a possible stimulatory role.

Description:   Metallothioneins (MTs) are a class of ubiquitous, low molecular weight, cysteine-rich, metal binding proteins that function in the metabolism of zinc and copper. MT protects against exposure to toxic metals such as mercury and cadmium as well as a variety of other stress conditions. There are four mammalian MT isoforms: MT-I, -II, -III, -IV, each of which is encoded by individual genes. MT expression is induced by heavy metal cations, starvation, elevated temperature, lipopolysaccharide, inflammatory cytokines, free radicals, and ionizing radiation.

Description:   The OKT4 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to the CD4 receptor for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). CD4 is a 59 kDa single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein that expressed on the surface of most of the thymocytes, T-helper cells, and in low levels on monocytes and macrophages. CD4 is a co-receptor in the antigen-induced T cell activation (together with the MHC class II). The OKT4 and the RPA-T4 monoclonal antibodies recognize different epitopes of CD4 and they do not exhibit cross-block binding.
