Description:   14-3-3 are activates tyrosine and tryptophan hydroxylases in the presence of Ca²⁺/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II, and strongly activates protein kinase C. Is probably a multifunctional regulator of the cell signaling processes mediated by both kinases. Activates the ADP-ribosyltransferase (exoS) activity of bacterial origin. 14-3-3 proteins are localized in neurons, and are axonally transported to the nerve terminals. They may be also present, at lower levels, in various other eukaryotic tissues. It belongs to the 14-3-3 family.

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   The 2.4G2 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with an epitope on the extracellular domain of the mouse CD16 (Fc gamma III) and CD 32 (Fc gamma II). CD16 and CD32 are low affinity receptors for the IgG Fc domain and are expressed by B lymphocytes, NK cells, kupffer cells, mast cells, monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes, immature thymocytes, neutrophils, and some activated mature T cells. The 2.4G2 antibody blocks the binding of immunoglobulins to CD16 and CD32, and possibly to Fc gamma I receptor.

Description:   OGFOD2 Antibody: OGFOD2 is a member of the 2-OG-Fe(II) dioxygenase family which plays an important role in ischemic survival and stress. Like the related protein OGFOD1, OGFOD2 is an oxidoreductase containing a Prolyl 4-hydroxylase alpha subunit. Little is known about the function of OGFOD2, but its similarity to OGFOD1 suggests that it is a novel stress granule component that may play an important proapoptotic role in the regulation of translation and HRI-mediated phosphorylation of eIF2alpha in cells.

Description:   The OKT4 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to the CD4 receptor for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). CD4 is a 59 kDa single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein that expressed on the surface of most of the thymocytes, T-helper cells, and in low levels on monocytes and macrophages. CD4 is a co-receptor in the antigen-induced T cell activation (together with the MHC class II). The OKT4 and the RPA-T4 monoclonal antibodies recognize different epitopes of CD4 and they do not exhibit cross-block binding.

Description:   The SN5c antibody is specific for human CD10, a 100 kDa type II transmembrane protein also known as Common Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Antigen (CALLA). In normal cells, it is expressed on early B and T lymphoid precursors, neutrophils and on various epithelia. CD10 is also expressed on several lymphoma cells including Burkitt's, acute lymphoblastic, and follicular germinal center lymphomas. CD10 functions as an endopeptidase and is involved in B cell development, as well as a mediator of neutrophil inflammatory responses.

Description:   L-glutamate is the major excitatory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system and activates both ionotropic and metabotropic glutamate receptors. Glutamatergic neurotransmission is involved in most aspects of normal brain function and can be perturbed in many neuropathologic conditions. The metabotropic glutamate receptors are a family of G protein-coupled receptors, that have been divided into 3 groups on the basis of sequence homology, putative signal transduction mechanisms, and pharmacologic properties. Group I includes GRM1 and GRM5 and these receptors have been shown to activate phospholipase C. Group II includes GRM2 and GRM3 while Group III includes GRM4, GRM6, GRM7 and GRM8. Group II and III receptors are linked to the inhibition of the cyclic AMP cascade but differ in their agonist selectivities. The canonical alpha isoform of the metabotropic glutamate receptor 1 gene is a disulfide-linked homodimer whose activity is mediated by a G-protein-coupled phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms; some of which may have distinct functions. [provided by RefSeq].

Description:   Keratin 15 is a type I keratin without a defined type II partner. Keratin 15 is expressed primarily in the basal keratinocytes of stratified tissues, including the fetal epidermis and fetal nail. Expression of keratin 15 is down regulated in some hyperproliferating situations, such as psoriasis and hypertrophic scars. Because keratinocytes in psoriasis and hypertrophic scars are activated, it is suggested that keratin 15 expression is not compatible with keratinocyte activation and the keratin 15 gene is down regulated to maintain the activated phenotype.

Description:   NK1.1, a member of the NKR-P1 family of cell surface receptors, is a type II integral membrane glycoprotein with a C-type lectin domain. It is expressed as a disulfide-linked homodimer on all NK cells as well as subsets of thymocytes and peripheral T lymphocytes in selected strains of mice (e.g., C57BL/6, NZB, and CE). NK1.1 mediates cellular activation and differentiation, and is thought to have a particular role in generating Th2 cells. This product does not react with NK cells of BALB/c mice.
