It is also designated as adipocyte-derived leucine aminopeptidase (A-LAP), puromycin-insensitive leucine-specific aminopeptidase (PILS-AP) and aminopeptidase regulator of TNFR1 shedding (ARTS-1) (3). ERAP1 is localized to the lumen of the ER and induced by interferon. It may be involved in the regulation of blood pressure through the inactivation of angiotensin II and/or the generation of bradykinin in the kidney (3,4).

The G protein–coupled receptor kinases (GRKs) are a versatile family of kinases that play a critical role in cancer metastasis through their regulation of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) involved in growth factor mediated cell migration (1,2). Phosphorylation of receptors by GRKs appears to be strictly dependent on the receptor being in its agonist-activated state. GRK6 is one of 7 members of the GRK serine/threonine kinase subfamily, which has been shown to modulate the Wnt signaling pathway via phosphorylation of LRP6 (3,4), and the insulin-like growth factor signaling pathway. GRK6 may also play a role in immune system function.

This antibody recognizes a single protein of 33-34 kDa, identified as the prostate specific antigen (PSA). This MAb is highly specific to PSA and stains prostatic secretory and ductal epithelium in both normal and neoplastic tissues. PSA is a chymotrypsin-like serine protease (kallikrein family) exclusively produced by the prostate epithelium, and abundant in seminal fluid. PSA can be detected in the sera of patients with prostatic carcinoma. It is predominantly complexed to a liver-derived serine protease inhibitor, alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (ACT). A higher proportion of serum PSA is complexed to ACT in prostate cancer than in benign prostate hyperplasia.
