Supplier:  LGC STANDARDS
Description:   10 µS/cm @ 25°C, Conductivity (NIST Traceable, ACS), Paragon Scientific, LGC Standards
New Product
Catalog Number: (10325-712)

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   Hyperpolarization-activated ion channel with very slow activation and inactivation exhibiting weak selectivity for potassium over sodium ions. Contributes to the native pacemaker currents in heart (If) that regulate the rhythm of heart beat. May contribute to the native pacemaker currents in neurons (Ih). May mediate responses to sour stimuli.
Supplier:  Adipogen
Description:   Antidiabetic compound. Binds to and activates the ATP-sensitive potassium channels (KATP) inhibitory regulatory subunit sulfonylurea receptor 1 (SUR1). Causes cell membrane depolarization and opening of voltage-dependent calcium channel. Increases intracellular calcium and stimulates insulin secretion in beta cells NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitor. Broad-spectrum ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter inhibitor. Shown to have anti-leishmanial activity. Potential inhibitor of collagenases.
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   Interacts with the cytoplasmic tail of NMDA receptor subunits and shaker-type potassium channels. Required for synaptic plasticity associated with NMDA receptor signaling. Overexpression or depletion of DLG4 changes the ratio of excitatory to inhibitory synapses in hippocampal neurons. May reduce the amplitude of ASIC3 acid-evoked currents by retaining the channel intracellularly. May regulate the intracellular trafficking of ADR1B (By similarity).
Supplier:  Polysciences Inc
Description:   Prussian Blue or Perls’ reaction is used to demonstrate ferric iron and ferritin
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   G-protein coupled receptor that functions as receptor for endogenous enkephalins and for a subset of other opioids. Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and modulates the activity of down-stream effectors, such as adenylate cyclase. Signaling leads to the inhibition of adenylate cyclase activity. Inhibits neurotransmitter release by reducing calcium ion currents and increasing potassium ion conductance. Plays a role in the perception of pain and in opiate-mediated analgesia. Plays a role in developing analgesic tolerance to morphine.
Catalog Number: (10070-298)

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   One gap junction consists of a cluster of closely packed pairs of transmembrane channels, the connexons, through which materials of low MW diffuse from one cell to a neighboring cell. May play a critical role in the physiology of hearing by participating in the recycling of potassium to the cochlear endolymph.

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   The muscarinic acetylcholine receptor mediates various cellular responses, including inhibition of adenylate cyclase, breakdown of phosphoinositides and modulation of potassium channels through the action of G proteins. Primary transducing effect is inhibition of adenylate cyclase.
Supplier:  Honeywell Research Chemicals
Description:   Concentrate for dilution to 500 mL of buffer solution.
Supplier:  BeanTown Chemical
Description:   CAS: 17572-97-3; EC No: 241-543-5; MDL No: MFCD00013304 Crystalline; Molecular Formula: C10H13K3N2O8; MW: 406.46

Catalog Number: (75933-784)

Supplier:  Rockland Immunochemical
Description:   Childhood and adult obesity in the United States and to a lesser extent the rest of the world has increased dramatically over the past decade. Both environmental and genetic factors are involved in the onset and progression of weight gain. Recently, the potassium channel KCTD15 was identified as a genetic loci associated with higher than normal body mass index (BMI) in humans along with genes such as GNPDA2, MTCH2, FTO, and TMEM18. Further studies on single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in non-diabetic and diabetic patients showed that FTO was most strongly associated with obesity while MTCH2 and GNPDA2 were still significantly associated with higher than normal BMI levels. At least two isoforms of KCTD15 are known to exist.
Catalog Number: (89270-704)

Supplier:  Genetex
Description:   Rabbit polyclonal antibody to KCNRG (N-terminal)

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   KCNK9 or TASK-3 (TWIK-related Acid sensitive K+ channel) is a member of the potassium channel family of proteins that contain two-pore domain and four transmembrane domains. These channels are characterized as leak K+ channels that are sensitive to changes in the extracellular pH. The physiological functions of TASK channels are largely unknown; it has been proposed that they may be involved in the regulation of breathing, aldosterone secretion and anesthetic-mediated neuronal activity. They were found to act in neurons' membrane potential and in resting K+ currents.
