Description:
ATG4A is a cysteine protease required for autophagy, which cleaves the C-terminal part of either MAP1LC3, GABARAPL2 or GABARAP, allowing the liberation of form I. A subpopulation of form I is subsequently converted to a smaller form (form II). Form II, with a revealed C-terminal glycine, is considered to be the phosphatidylethanolamine (PE)-conjugated form, and has the capacity for the binding to autophagosomes.

Description:
Fluorescein-Conjugated Goat F(ab')2 Fragment to Human Complement C3 is the lyophilized powder of fluorescein-5-isothiocyanate (FITC "Isomer I")-conjugated goat F(ab')2 fragment to human complement C3 and buffer salts.
Complement component C3 plays a central role in the activation of complement system. Its activation is required for both classical and alternative complement activation pathways. People with C3 deficiency are susceptible to bacteria infection. The total protein is measured using the Biuret procedure with bovine albumin as the standard; F/P ratio is calculated using absorbance at 491.5nm. Antibody titer of the IgG fraction is standardized by equivalence-point precipitation. The F(ab')2 fragments are tested for purity and specificity at a minimum of 20 mg/mL using immunoelectrophoresis.

Description:
This gene encodes an enzyme, consisting of two identical proteins, which catalyzes the isomerization of glyceraldehydes 3-phosphate (G3P) and dihydroxy-acetone phosphate (DHAP) in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. Mutations in this gene are associated with triosephosphate isomerase deficiency. Pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 1, 4, 6 and 7. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq]
