Western (Protein) blotting remains a critical application to numerous applications in cell and molecular biology. Dr. Sean R. Gallagher is the Vice President of research and development at Analytik Jena USA and has 33 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry, with an emphasis on instrumentation and applications development in imaging. This includes heavily cited technique publications in Western blotting. Prior to Analytik Jena, Dr. Gallagher held executive management positions at Hoefer Scientific Instruments, Hoefer Pharmacia Biotech, Motorola, Ionian Technologies, and UVP.
