Catalog Number: (76012-716)

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   Olfactory receptors interact with odorant molecules in the nose, to initiate a neuronal response that triggers the perception of a smell. The olfactory receptor proteins are members of a large family of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR) arising from single coding-exon genes. Olfactory receptors share a 7-transmembrane domain structure with many neurotransmitter and hormone receptors and are responsible for the recognition and G protein-mediated transduction of odorant signals. The olfactory receptor gene family is the largest in the genome. The nomenclature assigned to the olfactory receptor genes and proteins for this organism is independent of other organisms.

Supplier:  Adipogen
Description:   Bentamapimod (AS602801) is a novel and orally active c-Jun-N-Terminal Kinase Inhibitor highly specific for JNK kinases. The inhibitor Bentamapimod (AS602801) is a potent anti-inflammatory agent which has been shown to reduce the disease burden in several pre-clinical models for endometriosis, and has the potential to be effective in addressing the causes of post-operative abdominal adhesions. Pre-clinical data have demonstrated Bentamapimod to be an effective anti-inflammatory compound with anti-fibrotic properties. Bentamapimod (AS602801) showed good bioavailability in rats (F=50%). It does cross the blood brain barrier, with 98% brain penetration the drug has been well tolerated so far. Bentamapimod (AS602801) is a potent and selective JNK inhibitor with therapeutic potential in MS and fibrosis as well.

Blocks proteasome activity by targeting the catalytic beta-subunit. Apoptosis inducer. Anticancer compound. Upregulates HSP70 and HSP22. Induces differentiation and inhibits cell cycle progression in several tumor cell lines. Inhibits NF-kappaB activation by inhibiting IkappaB degradation. Cathepsin A inhibitor. beta-Secretase activity inhibitor. Anti-adipogenic. Autophagy inducer.
Supplier:  Adipogen
Description:   (Aminostyryl)pyridinium hemicyanine dye with solvent-dependent one- and two-photon emission1.

Supplier:  Proteintech
Description:   14-3-3 proteins interact with a wide spectrum of proteins and possess diverse functions. Mammals express seven distinct 14-3-3 isoforms (gamma, epsilon, beta, zeta, sigma, theta, tau) that form multiple homo- and hetero- dimmers. 14-3-3 proteins display the highest expression levels in the brain, and have been implicated in several neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. 66061-1-Ig recognizes 14-3-3 tau (YWHAQ), eta (YWHAH), and zeta (YWHAZ), but not epsilon (YWHAE).

Description:   Mouse CD83 is a 30-35kDa member of the Siglec (or sialic-acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin) family of transmembrane proteins. CD83 is a primary marker for dendritic cells. It is also found on B cells, neutrophils, monocytes and macrophages. Except for dendritic cells, CD83 expression is often transient. CD83 binds to sialic acids on target cells. Membrane CD83 promotes T cell proliferation, particularly of CD8+ cytotoxic T cells. Soluble CD83 is immunosuppressive and blocks T cell activation. On monocytes, CD83 is suggested to drive monocytes into a fibrocyte phenotype. A lack of membrane-expressed CD83 leads to an unusual IL-4/ IL-10 producing CD4+ T cell phenotype.
Supplier:  Adipogen
