Description:   Eotaxin-2 is a CC chemokine that signals through the CCR3 receptor. It is produced by activated monocytes and T lymphocytes. Eotaxin-2 selectively chemoattracts cells expressing CCR3 including eosinophils, basophils, Th2 T cells, mast cells, and certain subsets of dendritic cells. Additionally, Eotaxin-2 inhibits the proliferation of multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cells. The mature protein, which also includes a C-terminal truncation, contains 78 amino acid residues (92 a.a. residues for the murine homolog, without C-terminal truncation). Recombinant human Eotaxin-2 is an 8.8 kDa protein containing 78 amino acid residues.

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   ACAA1 is a 424 amino acid member of the thiolase family of enzymes and is involved in lipid metabolism. Localized to the peroxisome, ACAA1 catalyzes the conversion of acyl-CoA and acetyl-CoA to 3-oxoacyl-CoA in the fatty acid oxidation pathway. ACAA1 shows high enzymatic activity in liver, kidney, intestine and white adipose tissue in rats, where it exists as two types, namely type A and type B. Human ACAA1 shares 86% amino acid identity with its rat counterpart, suggesting a conserved function for ACAA1 among different species.

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   PDLIM5 is a LIM domain protein. LIM domains are cysteine-rich double zinc fingers composed of 50 to 60 amino acids that are involved in protein-protein interactions. LIM domain-containing proteins are scaffolds for the formation of multiprotein complexes. The proteins are involved in cytoskeleton organization, cell lineage specification, organ development, and oncogenesis. The encoded protein is also a member of the Enigma class of proteins, a family of proteins that possess a 100-amino acid PDZ domain in the N terminus and 1 to 3 LIM domains in the C terminus. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene, although not all of them have been fully characterized. The protein encoded by this gene is a LIM domain protein. Description:   MDC is a CC chemokine that is produced in B cells, macrophages, monocyte-derived dendritic cells, activated NK cells and CD4 T cells. It signals through the CCR4 receptor. MDC chemoattracts monocytes, dendritic cells and NK cells and exerts HIV suppressive activity. The 67 amino acid form of MDC displays reduced chemoattractant activity but retains HIV suppressive activity. Recombinant human MDC is an 8.1 kDa protein containing 69 amino acid residues including the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in the CC chemokines.

Description:   The Ras p21 family of guanine nucleotide proteins has been widely studied in view of its apparent role in signal transduction pathways and high frequency of mutations in human malignancies. It is now clear, however, that the Ras proteins (H-, K- and N-Ras p21) are members of a much larger superfamily of related proteins. Six members of this family, Rap 1A, Rap 1B, Rap 2, R-Ras, Ral A and Ral B, exhibit approximately 50% amino acid homology to Ras. The six mammalian Rho proteins (Rho A, B, C, G, 7 and 8) are approximately 30% homologous to Ras and are expressed in a wide range of cell types. Both Ras p21 and Rho p21, as well as other members of the Ras superfamily, contain a carboxy-terminal CAAX sequence (C, cysteine; A, aliphatic amino acid; X, any amino acid) which in the case of Ras has been shown to be essential for correct localization and function.

Description:   Bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) constitute a subfamily within the TGF-β superfamily of structurally related signaling proteins. Members of this superfamily are widely distributed throughout the body and are involved in diverse physiological processes during both pre- and postnatal life.  BMP-10 plays a crucial role in the development of the embryonic heart by acting to stimulate and maintain cardiomyocyte proliferation.  It can signal through various receptor complexes usually containing BMPR-1A, BMPR-1B, ALK1, ALK3, or ALK6. The interaction of BMP-10 with its specific receptors can induce signaling initiated by the phosphorylation of SMAD transcription factors, including SMAD1, SMAD5, or SMAD8, but can also induce SMAD independent processes.  BMP-10 is structurally related to BMP-9, and both can inhibit endothelial cell proliferation and migration. Recombinant Human BMP-10 is a 24.4 kDa homodimeric disulfide-linked protein consisting of two 108 amino acid subunits, which correspond to amino acid residues 317 to 424 of the full-length BMP-10 precursor.
