Description:
The IL-1 family is comprised of 11 structurally related ligands, including recently re-named IL-36α (IL-1F6), β (IL-1F8) and γ (IL-1F9). IL-36β is highly expressed in psoriatic plaques, and at lower levels in various other tissues. IL-36β signals through the IL-1Rrp2 (IL-1R6) receptor, which is primarily expressed on certain dendritic cells. The interaction of the IL-1Rrp2 receptor with IL-36 ligands induces dendritic cell maturation and activation. IL-36β also functions as an agonist of NF-kappaB, and stimulates the production of pro-inflammatory proteins, including IL-6, IL-8, BD-2, and BD-3. Recombinant human IL-36β is a 17.3 kDa protein containing 154 amino acid residues.

Description:
The leucine-rich (LRR) repeat is a 20-30 amino acid motif that forms a hydrophobic å/∫ horseshoe fold, allowing it to accommodate several leucine residues within a tightly packed core. All LRR repeats contain a variable segment and a highly conserved segment, the latter of which accounts for 11 or 12 residues of the entire LRR motif. ISLR2 (immunoglobulin superfamily containing leucine-rich repeat 2), also known as LINX (leucine-rich repeat domain and immunoglobulin domain-containing axon extension protein), is a 745 amino acid single-pass membrane protein that contains five LRR repeats, one Ig-like (immunoglobulin-like) domain, a LRRCT domain and one LRRNT domain. ISLR2 exists as a homomultimer and is essential for axon extension during neural development. The gene encoding ISLR2 maps to human chromosome 15q24.1.

Description:
RGS22 Antibody: Regulator of G-protein signaling (RGS) proteins contain an 120 amino acid conserved domain, termed the RGS domain, that acts as a GTPase-activating protein that acts to reduce the signal transmitted by the receptor-activated G-alpha subunit. RGS22 is a recently identified member of this family that localizes to the testis and can interact with guanine nucleotide binding proteins alpha 11, 12, and 13 (GNA11, GNA12, and GNA13). While RGS22 has been postulated to play a role in spermiogenesis in the testis, it is also expressed in several cancer cell lines with an epithelial origin and associated with cancer metastasis. Its overexpression in a highly metastatic cancer causes a decrease in cell migration and a reduction of the invasive potential of the cells, suggesting that RGS22 may be a potential prognostic biomarker for metastasis.

Description:
Neuropoietin is a newly identified member of the IL-6 cytokine family. Members of this family, including IL-6, IL-11, oncostatin M, leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), cardiotrophin-1 (CT-1), cardiotrophin-like cytokine, and CNTF, display a four-helix bundle structure, and signal through gp130-containing receptor complexes. Neuropoietin, which is predominantly expressed in neuroepithelia during embryonic life, acts through a receptor complex formed of a CNTF receptor-α component, gp 130, and LIF receptor. Like CNTF, it promotes the survival of embryonic motor neurons, and could increase the proliferation of neural precursor cells in the presence of EGF and FGF-2. Interestingly, the human neuropoietin gene has evolved toward a pseudogene, suggesting that alternative signaling via CNTF is an effective compensatory pathway. Recombinant Murine Neuropoietin is a 19.8 kDa protein containing 183 amino acid residues.

Description:
USP11(Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 11), also named as UHX1, is a deubiquitinating enzyme controling many intracellular processes, including cell cycle progression, transcriptional activation, and signal transduction. There are four bands of 120 kDa, 55 kDa, 50 kDa and 44 kDa to be detected in HeLa extract by western blot and the smaller proteins may be degradation products, some other spliced products could possibly correspond to the smaller proteins and possess functions. This protein belongs to the peptidase C19 family.
