Catalog Number: (89355-842)

Supplier: Genetex
Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to KHS (mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase kinase 5)
Supplier: Southern Biotechnology
Description: The BC96 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD25, the 55 kDa interleukin-2 receptor α chain (IL-2Rα). CD25 is expressed by early progenitors of T and B lineage as well as by activated mature T and B lymphocytes. By itself, CD25 binds IL-2 only with low affinity. However, CD25 associates with CD122 (IL-2 receptor β chain) and CD132 (common γ chain) to form the high affinity IL-2 receptor. CD25 plays a role in lymphocyte differentiating and activation/proliferation. CD25 is expressed on activated B cells, monocytes/macrophages, and T cells.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: The multi-pass membrane protein encoded by this gene belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 3 family and GABA-B receptor subfamily. The GABA-B receptors inhibit neuronal activity through G protein-coupled second-messenger systems, which regulate the release of neurotransmitters, and the activity of ion channels and adenylyl cyclase. This receptor subunit forms an active heterodimeric complex with GABA-B receptor subunit 1, neither of which is effective on its own. Allelic variants of this gene have been associated with nicotine dependence.
Catalog Number: (89349-368)

Supplier: Genetex
Description: Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to ATF4 (activating transcription factor 4 (tax-responsive enhancer element B67))

Supplier: Sellstrom
Description: These water-activated cleansing tissues are safe for glass or plastic lenses and contain an anti-fogging agent.
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Negative regulator of MYD88- and TRIF-dependent toll-like receptor signaling pathway which plays a pivotal role in activating axonal degeneration following injury. Promotes Wallerian degeneration an injury-induced axonal death pathway which involves degeneration of an axon distal to the injury site. Can activate neuronal death in response to stress. Regulates dendritic arborization through the MAPK4-JNK pathway. Involved in innate immune response. Inhibits both TICAM1/TRIF- and MYD88-dependent activation of JUN/AP-1, TRIF-dependent activation of NF-kappa-B and IRF3, and the phosphorylation of MAPK14/p38.
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Bid, a BH3 domain containing proapoptotic Bcl2 family member, is localized in the cytosolic fraction of cells as an inactive precursor. Its active form is generated upon proteolytic cleavage by caspase 8 in the Fas signaling pathway. Cleaved Bid translocates to mitochondria and releases its potent proapoptotic activity, which in turn induces cytochrome c release and mitochondrial damage. The cytochrome c releasing activity of Bid was antagonized by Bcl2. Mutation in the SH3 domain can diminish the cytochrome c releasing activity. In animal model studies, Bid deficient mice are found resistant to the lethal effects of death factor signals relayed through Fas.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: N-RAS Antibody: Activating mutations and overexpression of classical Ras subfamily members (N-RAS, H-RAS, and K-RAS) have been widely investigated as key events in the development of human cancers. The N-RAS protein shuttles between the Golgi apparatus and the plasma membrane. This shuttling is regulated through palmitoylation and depalmitoylation by the ZDHHC9-GOLGA7 complex. N-RAS, which has intrinsic GTPase activity, is activated by a guanine nucleotide-exchange factor and inactivated by a GTPase activating protein. Mutations in this gene have been associated with somatic rectal cancer, follicular thyroid cancer, autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome, Noonan syndrome, and juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: PIK3R3 binds to activated (phosphorylated) protein-tyrosine kinases through its SH2 domain and regulates their kinase activity. During insulin stimulation, it also binds to IRS-1.
Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Activation of cells by LPS is mediated by the Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). For optimal interaction with LPS, TLR4 requires association with myeloid differentiation protein 2 (MD-2). According to current consensus activation of TLR4 is preceded by the transfer of LPS to membrane-bound (m) or soluble (s) CD14 by LPS-binding protein (LBP). Re-form LPS and lipid A, but not S-form LPS, are capable of inducing TNF-alpha responses also in the absence of CD14. LPS, synthesized by most wild-type (WT) Gram-negative bacteria (S-form LPS), consists of three regions, the O-polysaccharide chain, which is made up of repeating oligosaccharide units, the core oligosaccharide and the lipid A, which harbors the endotoxic activity of the entire molecule. R-form LPS synthesized by the so-called rough (R) mutants of Gram-negative bacteria lacks the O-specific chain. Furthermore, the core-oligosaccharide may be present in different degrees of completion, depending on the class (Ra to Re) to which the mutant belongs. LPS are amphipathic molecules whose hydrophobicity decreases with increasing length of the sugar part. Based upon these differences, S- and R-form LPS show marked differences in the kinetics of their blood clearance and cellular uptake as well as in the ability to induce oxidative burst in human granulocytes and to activate the host complement system.

Description: CC-401 is a competitive inhibitor of the ATP binding site in the active, phosphorylated, form of JNK. This prevents JNK from phosphorylating its various target molecules, including the amino terminus of c-Jun. It is a potent inhibitor of all three forms of JNK (Ki of 25-50 nM), and has at least 40-fold selectivity for JNK compared with other related kinases, including: p38, ERK, IKK2, PKC, Lck, and ZAP70. CC-401 acts to inhibit JNK signaling by competitive binding to the adenosine triphosphate-binding site in the active, phosphorylated, form of JNK, resulting in inhibition of the phosphorylation of JNK targets, such as the amino-terminal activation domain of the transcription factor, c-Jun. In cell-based assays, 1-5 muM CC-401 provides specific JNK inhibition.

Description: Human CD137 ligand is a type II transmembrane protein constitutively expressed by monocytes, B cells neuroblastoma cells, and some activated T cells. The interaction of CD137 (4-1BB) and CD137L can supply a costimulatory signal to T cells through CD137. The interaction can also effect a reverse signal, inducing monocyte activation, or T cell inactivation and programmed death through CD137L.

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: The cytokine human interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) is a glycosylated protein that exists as a homodimer of 34kDa in its biologically active form. IFN-gamma is expressed upon activation by TH1 cells CD8+ cells and NK cells. Secreted IFN-gamma is a potent inhibitor of in vitro hematopoiesis and appears to serve as an important regulator of lymphocyte and macrophage function by exerting antiproliferative effects.
