Description:   The 2.4G2 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with an epitope on the extracellular domain of the mouse CD16 (Fc γ III) and CD 32 (Fc γ II). CD16 and CD32 are low affinity receptors for the IgG Fc domain and are expressed by B lymphocytes, NK cells, kupffer cells, mast cells, monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes, immature thymocytes, neutrophils, and some activated mature T cells. The 2.4G2 antibody blocks the binding of immunoglobulins to CD16 and CD32, and possibly to Fc γ I receptor.

This antibody reacts with human. The Arginase 1 / ARG1 / liver Arginase Antibody (ARG1 / 1125) [FITC] has been validated for the following applications: Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin.
Supplier:  Immunoreagents
Description:   ImmunoReagents’ FITC Conjugates are used in immunofluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, FLISA (fluorescent ELISA) and high throughput screening assays. Fluorescein is typically excited by the 488 nm line of an argon laser, and emission is collected at 518 nm. FITC antibody conjugates are yellow-orange in color but emit a yellow-green color upon Em 518 nm. FITC antibody conjugates are sensitive to light. The typical FITC to antibody ratio (F/P) is >4.0 Excitation/Emission = 494nm / 518nm Emission Color = Green (Similar Dyes: Alexa Fluor 488, Cy2, DyLight ® 488)

The ARNT / HIF-1 beta Antibody (H1beta234) [FITC] has been validated for the following applications: Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin.
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the multi-subunit protein complex EIF4F. This complex facilitates the recruitment of mRNA to the ribosome, which is a rate-limiting step during the initiation phase of protein synthesis. The recognition of the mRNA cap and the ATP-dependent unwinding of 5'-terminal secondary structure is catalyzed by factors in this complex. The subunit encoded by this gene is a large scaffolding protein that contains binding sites for other members of the EIF4F complex. A domain at its N-terminus can also interact with the poly(A)-binding protein, which may mediate the circularization of mRNA during translation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, some of which are derived from alternative promoter usage. [provided by RefSeq].

Description:   Dystroglycan is a laminin binding component of the dystrophin-glycoprotein complex which provides a linkage between the subsarcolemmal cytoskeleton and the extracellular matrix. Dystroglycan 1 is a candidate gene for the site of the mutation in autosomal recessive muscular dystrophies. The dramatic reduction of dystroglycan 1 in Duchenne muscular dystrophy leads to a loss of linkage between the sarcolemma and extracellular matrix, rendering muscle fibers more susceptible to necrosis. Dystroglycan also functions as dual receptor for agrin and laminin-2 in the Schwann cell membrane. The muscle and nonmuscle isoforms of dystroglycan differ by carbohydrate moieties but not protein sequence. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants all encoding the same protein.[provided by RefSeq, Apr 2010]

Description:   LPP (LIM containing lipoma preferred partner), is a scaffolding protein which contains three LIM domains at its carboxy terminus, preceded by a proline rich pre LIM region containing a number of protein interaction domains. LPP localizes to sites of cell adhesion, such as focal adhesions and cell-cell contacts and may be involved in cell-cell adhesion and cell motility. LPP also shuttles through the nucleus and may function as a transcriptional co-activator. The human LPP gene maps to chromosomal location 3q28, and preferentially translocates to the HMGIC gene in a subclass of human benign mesenchymal tumors known as lipomas. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Description:   The monoclonal antibody 14B11 reacts with murine Ly49C, Ly49F, Ly49H, and Ly49I, members of the lectin-like homodimeric Ly49 family of cell surface receptors. Mouse Ly49 receptors exhibit allelic specificity for MHC class I Ia molecules and are thought to serve to prevent natural killer (NK) cells from attacking normal cells while allowing them to attack infected or transformed cells in which class I molecules have been downregulated. These inhibitory receptors are also expressed on a subpopulation of mouse CD8+ T cells. The 14B11 antibody stains ~90% of NK1.1+CD3- splenocytes and ~6% of CD8+ spleen cells from C57BL/6 mice. The antibody also stains 30-80% of NK1.1+CD3- splenocytes in other mouse strains tested (BALB/c, C3H, 129, SJL, AKR/J).

Description:   In the chicken, the CD8 molecule is present in two forms - (i) a homodimer of two α chains and (ii) a heterodimer of an α chain and a β chain. Chicken CD8 is expressed on approximately 80% of thymocytes, 15% of blood mononuclear cells and 50% of spleen cells but less than 1% of cells in the bursa and bone marrow. While the vast majority of CD8+ cells in the thymus, spleen, and blood of adult chickens express both CD8α- and CD8β-chains, a relatively large proportion of the CD8+ TCRγδ cells in the spleens of embryos and young chicks express only the α-chain of CD8. Among intestinal epithelial lymphocytes, the major CD8+ T cell populations present in mice are conserved but there is a population of TCRγδ CD8αβ cells in the chicken that is not found in rodents. The monoclonal antibody EP72 recognizes the CD8α chain.
Supplier:  Rockland Immunochemical
Description:   Produced through a multi-stage process that includes delipidation, salt fractionation, ion-exchange chromatography, gel filtration, and affinity chromatography. No contaminating proteins are observed when assayed at a protein concentration of 20mg/mL against anti-whole serum or anti-fragment specific antisera. All immunoglobulin fragments are prepared from highly purified, whole molecules subject to enzymatic digestion.
