Description:
Murine CD79 is a disulfide-linked heterodimer composed of an α chain (CD79a) and a β chain (CD79b) that associates non-covalently with membrane immunoglobulin (Ig) to form the B cell receptor (BCR) complex. Its expression is restricted to B lymphocytes first appearing on the surface at the pro-B cell stage prior to productive Ig gene rearrangements and remaining through all stages of B-cell differentiation prior to plasma cells. It has been proposed that the CD79 complex on pro-B cell surfaces may function to induce early B-cell differentiation.

Description:
Whole IgG antibodies are isolated as intact molecules from antisera by immunoaffinity chromatography. They have an Fc portion and two antigen binding Fab portions joined together by disulfide bonds and therefore they are divalent. The average molecular weight is reported to be about 160 kDa. The whole IgG form of antibodies is suitable for the majority of immunodetection procedures and is the most cost effective. Based on immunoelectrophoresis and/or ELISA, the antibody reacts with whole molecule goat IgG. It also reacts with the light chains of other goat immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. The antibody has been tested by ELISA and/or solid-phase adsorbed to ensure minimal cross-reaction with bovine, chicken, guinea pig, syrian hamster, horse, human, mouse, rabbit and rat serum proteins, but it may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.

DDX3 is involved in RNA metabolism. Two DDX3 paralogs are found in humans; DDX3X is encoded by a gene found on the X chromosome while DDX3Y is encoded by a gene on the Y chromosome. DDX3Y is exclusively expressed in testis and is required for normal spermatogenesis. DDX3X is ubiquitously expressed and predominantly localizes to the nuclear speckles, participating in RNA splicing, transcription, translation initiation, mRNA transport and cell cycle regulation. DDX3X also partakes in HIV-1 replication and hepatitis C viral infections.

Protein kinase termed (DAPK2) dependant on calcium/calmodulin (Ca2+/CaM) contains an N-terminal protein kinase domain followed by a conserved CaM-binding domain with significant homologies to those of DAP kinase, a protein kinase involved in apoptosis.
