Description:   CD14 is a 55 kDa glycosphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored single chain glycoprotein. It is expressed on monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and Langerhans cells. It is also weakly expressed on neutrophils. CD14 appears to be involved in clearance of gram-negative bacteria via its high affinity binding to LPS-LPB complexes.

Supplier:  Southern Biotechnology
Description:   CD71, a type II transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the cell surface as a homodimer, is the transferrin receptor. It is essential for the growth of normal and neoplastic cells. It is expressed at low levels on resting B and T lymphocytes but is upregulated during responses to antigens and mitogens presumably reflecting the iron dependence of proliferation. Its expression declines with maturation and differentiation. CD71 plays a critical role in cell proliferation by controlling the supply of iron which is essential for many metabolic pathways through the binding and endocytosis of transferrin, the major iron-carrying protein. It may also be involved in signal transduction via its association with the T cell receptor ζ chain. The monoclonal antibody RI7217 inhibits cell proliferation in vitro.

Supplier:  Southern Biotechnology
Description:   Mouse IgG3-Biotin for use as a control in flow cytometry and immunocytochemistry assays.
Supplier:  Southern Biotechnology
Description:   CD11b, the integrin αM subunit, combines with CD18, the integrin β2 subunit, to form the integrin Mac-1, also known as complement receptor 3 (CR3), which mediates adhesion to C3bi and ICAM-1/CD54. Mac-1 is expressed at varying levels on granulocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells, and B-1 cells in the peritoneal and pleural cavities. Mac-1 expression is rapidly up-regulated on neutrophils after activation and in the same time period that CD62L is shed from the cell surface. In addition to its role in binding C3bi on opsonized targets and mediation of the subsequent ingestion process, Mac-1 is important as an adhesion molecule in the transendothelial migration of monocytes and neutrophils. Cross-reaction of M1/70 to human CD11b has been observed on monocytes, polymorphonuclear leukocytes, and NK cells.

Description:   The “classical” MHC Class I molecules are histocompatibility antigens encoded by the H-2 gene complex and consist of heterodimers of highly polymorphic α chains noncovalently associated with the invariant β2-microglobulin. These antigens are expressed on most nucleated cells but expression varies on different cell types. MHC Class I molecules present endogenously synthesized peptides to CD8+ T lymphocytes, which are usually cytotoxic T cells. MHC Class I antigens expressed on thymic epithelial cells regulate the positive and negative selection of CD8+ T cells during T cell ontogeny. The monoclonal antibody 34-1-2S binds to a common determinant in the α3 domains of H-2Kd and H-2Dd in the presence or absence of β2 microglobulin. It cross reacts with the α3 domain of H-2Kb.

Description:   Purified Goat F(ab')2 Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) antibody with minimal reactivity to mouse and human proteins for use in ELISA, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry / immunocytochemistry, and western blotting assays.
Catalog Number: (100245-170)

Supplier:  Southern Biotechnology
Description:   Rabbit Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L)-Biotin antibody for use in ELISA, immunohistochemistry, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and ELISpot assays.
Supplier:  Southern Biotechnology
Description:   The αβ TCR is expressed on T lymphocytes of all mouse strains tested. The H57-597 monoclonal antibody does not react with γδ TCR-bearing cells. Plate-bound or soluble H57-597 activates αβ TCR-bearing T cells. In vitro and in vivo, H57-597 can induce immature thymocytes to undergo apoptosis. In vivo administration of H57-597 has been shown to deplete αβ TCR-bearing cells to near completion and prevent graft rejection.
Supplier:  Southern Biotechnology
Description:   CD45 is the common leukocyte antigen and is expressed on all cells of hematopoietic origin except erythrocytes. CD45 exists as a number of different isoforms which result from alternative RNA splicing of exons 4, 5 and 6. The I3/2.3 monoclonal antibody recognizes a framework epitope present on all CD45 isoforms. The CD45 molecule has been implicated as playing a key role in thymic development and in antigen-driven proliferation of T cells.
Supplier:  Southern Biotechnology
Description:   Donkey Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L)-FITC antibody for use in fluorescent assays.
